Excellent, reliable roller.
I've had an Ogio Layover bag of my own for several years. It has been all over the country and internationally as well. It does well on business or vacation. This has to be the sturdiest rolling bag I've ever used. The extendable handle is well protected which is important as that is the piece that is most frequently damaged during travel. The zippers are sturdy and always close easily. The material is very strong and I've yet to see any wearing or ripping. If extra space is needed the bag can extend outwards with a well designed zippered extension. This is great for stuffing in extra clothing or souvenirs. I purchased a second Layover recently for my wife who's always been envious of mine. Her old generic brand rolling bag was literally falling apart and it was time for an upgrade. She's already used her new Layover for several trips and loves it. I'm sure it will treat her well for a long time. I'd recommend this roller for pretty much any traveler. It is small enough to be used as an overhead bag. I've used it for long weekends as well as 7+ day trips. If you pack efficiently it can handle whatever you need.

I bought another one because nothing is better!
I have used this bag for over 20 years and love the perfect size, durability, and ease of use. Perhaps the best feature is the handles on top for loading into cars and airplane bins. The only problem I ever had was that the wheels fell apart after a decade of use. I replaced them with roller skate wheels and kept on traveling. My bag was stolen from a hotel room last month and I replaced it with the exact same bag because it's just that good.

Great carry on!
I love it! Same amazing quality as their backpacks. Same great design. Places to put all your things. Sturdy zipper. It's going to make me buy one of the full size for a checked bag.

5/5 for the price, 3.7/5 compared to professional bag
(Tldr: Great for price, smaller capacity due to design/ruggedness trade-off, design flaw that will lead to failure with regular use.) I have had this bag for a year as I try to transition to carryon only travel. I travel about once a month with this bag around the workd. It seems to be a nice middle ground between consumer grade and professional grade carry-on bags. He shows middling signs of wear and would probably be good for another year before eventual zipper failure. Pros: -Rugged main wheels -Expandable, which makes it a decent checked bag if you are trying to be versitile. -Decent organization. - Stands up well - Double rod on the handle allows for stable attachment of backpack. Cons: - less space compared to a purely rectangular suitcase inside due to a rounded cover. - The choice to reinforce the wheels and add bumps to this reinforcement (to allow it to lay flat )mean you are giving up about an inch of potential verticle storage. On a bag this small you feel the loss. (Pictured) - Design flaw. The handle on the bottom of the bag is meant to double as a stand. Due to the design of the bag, this handle ends up bending slightly, which allows the lower zippers to rub against the floor, (pictured) every time the bag is stood up. (The bag still stands up despite this. This will eventually lead to a lower zipper failure. At one year in, i have modified the bag with a abs plastic skid plate in an effort to delay this failure. (Pictured) I’ll check in next year with a progress report. Overall: I think it is a killer bag at the $200 price point. You will have to go up in price if you want a bag that actually has a reinforced lower. I also don’t know if the reinforced wheels are a good or a bad thing, since mine haven’t failed, but I do notice the lack of space. If you were trying to spend less than $300 on a carry-on bag, I think this is the perfect one. If you have closer to a $400 budget, I would go with something more like luggageworks.

Nice carry-on, sturdy and functional
Used it for over year now, 4 airline trips, one international, and it is easy to carry, roll and store. The size and shape fit easily in the overheads without shoving or maneuvering. Lots of pockets, small and large, work well for packing for a week. No problems so far with zippers, seams, handle, etc.

Cutting it a little close for an airline carry on.
Good bag but it really hits the extreme MAX for a carry on, as I sat there watching th flight attendant struggle to close the door... Make sure you leave some flexibility in the bag so it will fit. WHEELS OUT in over head compartments works cause the way the bag curves some what matched the curve in the ceiling of the compartments but the wheels stick out a little bit so the flight attendant couldn't close it and I had to check it..... I travel for avg 3-5 weeks at a time so naturally I need a decent amount of clothes. Bottom line it's BARELY BARELY carry on size, I know a united Airbus with 3-3 seating it just barely fit in the overhead. Use caution not to over pack.... Or they'll make you check it. I got lucky a few times when nobody had a bag next to mine so the FA just turned it sideways no problem but that's not going to happen on a close to or full flight. I own everything ogio they make great stuff but come on guys this is really cutting it close. Maybe my fault for overpacking but I feel the bag still had a lot of flex in it smashed in there.... **********UPDATE 9/9/2016********** I've gotten a chance now to operate out of the EMB jets now that are 2 and 2 for seating and where your bags are stowed sideways in the overheads. Again same thing it'a very close. I do really wish Ogio that you didn't make the sled design on the bottom portrude out so much from the bottom of the bag. I understand why you did for protection but that's like almost 2 inches lost right there that the bag is just kinda hovering off the ground. I would highly recommend reducing the size of those because you're losing capacity in the bag itself due to the height restrictions. Make it so the bag actually sits on the ground and you can gain back that few inches of packing space. Or I'd say just remove that little guard all together and make the storage area fill In the gap. Hopefully this helps everyone! So far so good with the quality and the 15+ round trips I've taken since last review.

9.8/10!
I travel a ton for work and hate checking luggage. I’ve been looking for a quality carry on and this hit every mark. I can fit a weeks worth of clothes easily. The upper lid has zippered storage for toiletries so it’s out of the way. The bag feels high quality and I like the roller skate wheels because they’re less prone to being broken by baggage handlers, should you need to check the bag such as on regional jets. I have an Ogio backpack going on 8 years of travel. I expect this bag to last just as long. The only “cheap” feeling component of this bag is the handle. It’s not quite as sturdy as other bags I’ve owned which is why I can’t give it a 10. That being said it does the job and doesn’t feel flimsy. Definitely recommend this for anyone who travels!

My favorite 22" carry on bag!
This is my second one of these Ogio Layover bags. I only replaced my first one after 7 years because my previous company branded it and I felt bad rolling through an airport representing another company's brand. Its a big bag, it rolls really well (its a 2 wheeler), it supports my often overloaded Tumi breif on top of the Ogio back without tipping over. It fits really well (when not expanded) into all the newer model overheads in airplanes. Some older Southwest/Delta/AA planes you have to make sure you put it in wheels first to fit. Also if you're 100% loaded up inside without expanding, you cannot put items in the front exterior pockets or it won't slide in the overhead. The bag has tons of space inside, two compacting straps, and two large lid compartments I usually fill with socks, underwear, and undershirts. I can easily pack for a week long business trip and carry on with this. A better packer than me could probably get even more days out of this bag. I normally buy Tumi carry on bags, but this is actually my favority bag over my comparable 22" Tumi Alpha carry-on. And I travel enough every year to get A-List on Southwest, and previously Gold or Plat on Delta.

Prawie idealna
Torba pojemna i praktyczna. Jedyny minus to bardzo głośne kółka….generują duży hałas.

The best bag for a worker.
My husband and son have these bags because they work in remote areas where wheels need to be solid and 4 wheels doesn't cut it. This has 2 very durable wheels and so many pockets for storage. Once expanded it has to go under plane but can be used as carry on if not expanded. Very versatile.

Gut durchdacht
