Will this fit the Tascam Mixcast 4?

Not sure, but my Allenheath ZED10FX dimensions are 13.2x3.7x10.8 ". Suggest you measure your unit. But if all else fails, I know Tascam has a carrying case for that specific model Mixcast 4 for est $60 or so.

Would this case be ideal for portable Podcasting such as two Mics, Headphones etc?

I have two mics, two sets of headphones and all the cables in the case. It is however not a robust case. It is made from quality material but offers extremely minimal protection.
