These filters do what they are supposed to do i.e.prevent water marks when rinsing your car.They work very well in our hard water area.My wife puts them inline with the hose to her pressure washer and is very impressed by them.

VERY IMPRESSED. I’m a huge car cleaner (do them twice a week x2 cars) and live on a dusty Lane so any time I can save is welcomed. Have been looking at the £100 ish mark filters but thought I’d give these a go for the money and they work a charm and I’d say our water is very hard and can leave real stubborn water marks unless you squeegee and chamois off quickly after washing. Hopefully they’ll last the month or so just to get you through summer.

Still leave water spots on glass and garden furniture while using the filter, don't recommend buying these.

Does soften the water a bit but there are still water marks

Use these to fill up my hot tub, the weight helps to keep the hose in right position. The water is markedly more easier to balance and testing the water showed less scale and trace elements, a.k.a. the water is cleaner and clearer. The filters are easy to install to a garden hose using Gardena type hose connectors (installation was my greatest worry because there is no explicit info in the description)

Easy to use . Does exactly as advertised. Works great with the RainX car washing soap . Zero residue . Zero dried water spots . To work properly , however , divide the washing area into sections . Wash one section at a time with soap , then rinse with water so that soap residue has minimal time to dry . Then proceed on the rest of your vehicle . This works excellent when washing your house windows too . Very pleased with the purchase .

So this filter made absolutly no change on water spots on my vehicle. Maybe because I have well water? Not sure but I have a whole house filter system and a water softener. After i had my windshield replaced and I washed my truck, the water spots were just as bad as before.

I live in a gated community and we have a designated area (two open-air stalls with hoses and drainage provided) for washing cars. The water, however, is non-potable and tends to leave water spots unless you are very quick to hand-dry after washing. Considering the southern California sunshine, that "quickness" can be problematic. I bought this two-pack filter product, a 25' length of hose, and a brass nozzle. --> filter --> hose --> nozzle. I connect the provided hose to the inlet of the filter and away I go. Am I dazzled by the difference in water quality? Not really. Do I have more time to dry my car? Yeah, I actually think I do. Spots still appear but they are more "manageable", especially if you are using (by now) a dampened micro-fiber towel. They rub right out. I'm sure these filters have many, many more uses. Check the specs and twist one into any standard garden hose-delivered flow. Handy.
