Stays on hook for surf casting.
Caught several fish of pier 1 st time using. Stays of hook great, can be messy to take off. Worked better than dead shrimp. Does not come off w/ surf casting.

Pompano love it, and I like catching Pompano
Saw these recommended in a YouTube video by a guy surf fishing in the Gulf of America, so we ordered them. We normally used live sand fleas, but found that they didn't stay on the hook when casting. The FishBites E-Z Flea bait stays on your hook, which is great when you're trying to cast it out as far as you can. We caught a lot of pompano on this bait until the wind changed and algae rolled in. But even a great bait isn't going to keep 10 lbs of algae weeds from glombing onto your line. Highly recommend, would use again.

You can't go wrong with Fishbites
I have experienced Fishbites out catching natural baits. I have people who are fishing near me come up and ask me what I am using since I am bring in fish they are not. It last so much longer that other baits. As long as you keep Fishbites in a cool and dark place. It has lasted over 2 years. You can't go wrong.

Excellent Product
This is my go to bait when fishing for whiting and other saltwater varieties. It never fails, always attract fish, it last much longer than live or fresh bait and prevents you from having to bait your hook after getting strikes and/or landing a fish.

It works!
Absolutely love FishBites! Better than live or dead bait! Can catch multiple fish on one little piece of bait! Rarely can do that with shrimp or cut bait!

Better than a bare hook but not as good as the real thing
Bought this for a surf fishing on the Gulf. Fished it every day for a week. Fished it alone, with fresh shrimp, and baited alone on a one hook of a pompano rig while baiting the other with shrimp alone. The shrimp got bit almost every cast while the fish turned up their noses to the fishbites. They would nibble it but not take it. To be clear- these were hardhead catfish and pin fish for the most part, not species known for being picky. I suspect that if the fish were hungry, this would be better than nothing, but given the option I’d prefer to have real bait.
