Will these sink in a pool? Looking for something for my kids to practice lobster diving.

No. They are plastic and lightweight, unless you would weigh them down with something else, I would say they will not sink. (I did not test this though)

What age is the toy safe for?

It is a hard, brittle plastic. Doesn’t appear that any pieces are loose or will break off easily. I’d say 3 and up.

Are they suitable for outdoor decorating?

I would think so if you're talking about for a party...not sure how they would hold up if you're leaving them out for months. I used it as a cake topper for a lobster trap cake and it was great quality and realistic. Hope that helps
