Exactly what I was looking for. Different edges of the bone have different uses. It’s a nice thickness in the hand, and comfortable to use.

I don’t use this for origami. I work in a mail room, so I’m hand stuffing letters all day. I have to fold some of the letters by hand and my hand hurts when I need to fold multiple letters at a time. This helps me fold letters and gives me a better crease. It may not seem like a big deal, but it’s a life saver. It is perfect for what I use it for. I can see this helping anyone who has carpal tunnel or maybe arthritis in their hands.

This is a must have as a school librarian! I started at a school that was only using plastic ones, which leaves a residue behind. This leaves no residue and is nice and strong to smooth out my label cover stickers to prevent lifting. size is great to use on multiple projects, especially when using an adhesive cover for paper back books.

Simplemente fabulosa herramienta de plegado. Pude comprobar que las de plástico o de teflón lastiman el papel de scrapbook y esta herramienta que sí es de hueso, no lo daña. Es perfecta. Cara?, sí. Pero no me arrepiento para nada. La tomas sin miedo a que vaya a dañar tu trabajo o de que se vaya a quebrar.

It’s a genuine bone folder, so I do understand there is the possibility of flaws, but unfortunately the folder that I received has a rough/chipped end, which makes it a bit useless to use for bookbinding as it leaves scratches and marks on surfaces.
