How smooth is the rack and pinion motion? Does the motion have noticeable bumps?

Mine is very smooth. no clicking or notch type feeling when I adjust.

Will this bracket work with a dewalt dw089lg ?

The back and forth travel is about 2” making the distance from the back plate to the 1/4-20 mounting bolt around 2” to 4”. The DW089LG is a pretty big unit for this mount. I think that it may work but you would not get the full range of motion out of it.

Will it qork with makit?

Suitable for machines with 1/4 or 5/8 threads at the bottom

Will this mount work with a 503CG laser?
