Very satisfy with book quality and delivery time

I didn't receive the CD! And you can't log in online to view the CD anyway. It's pathetic!

Adottato per il corso Edexcel nel triennio di scuola superiore, la struttura e le finalità del testo sono decisamente migliori e più 'oneste' dei tanti testi 'made in Italy' infarciti di esercizi da completare sul testo stesso che ne fanno libri-usa-e-getta. Ormai è chiaro: gli autori ed editori italiani hanno scovato il modo per affossare il mercato dell'usato con buona pace per la spesa delle famiglie. All'estero (e questo testo ben lo dimostra) non funziona così!

The book is packed with scientific terms and all the topic you need to improve and master you grades to a certain level. Its cheap and defiantly worth it! the student book shows every thing you need to get incredible results on your tests Its well explained and easy to understand so buy it

Groovy way of learning Physics although you do need to you tube as some stuff that doesn't make immediate sense. Well laid out and very informative. We're home edders, have used the edexcel book for chemistry and gained grade B so they must be doing something right!

This is a very simple and clear textbook, covering the current Edexcel IGCSE syllabus for physics. The chapters are designed to give an explanation of each topic and then follow up with questions to test understanding. I do have a few reservations - some of the experiments do not have all the equipment labelled, or lack a full explanation; I have found at least one typo in the worked examples; there are no answers to the end-of-chapter questions that I have yet found (fine for the written answers which just require regurgitating the content from the chapter, but it would be useful for the students to be able to see that their use of formulae is giving the correct results). My favourite physics textbook is still the old one I bought about 8 years ago, that covers the Cambridge IGCSE course. It has much better explanations, background information and diagrams.

This is an absolutely fantastic book. Well written, with everything very clear. Other reviewers mentioned that they couldn't find instructions on how to get the answers, but I thought they just weren't looking properly........ so I ordered.... Well, we can't find them either! With some difficulty, I've found an email address on the Pearson website, and have asked for the answers. It would be so much easier though, if the answers were published as a loose-leaf insert with the book, or on another CD (as they are with the corresponding revision guide (another fantastic book). Fab, fab book, put please publishers--add a little insert telling us how to get the answers without having to go through so many hoops!
