⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Super Easy to Use and Works Great!
I recently used Gorilla All Purpose Wood Filler for a few projects around the house, and I’m really impressed. I’m not a professional—just a regular person fixing up some dings, holes, and cracks in furniture and trim—and this stuff made the job way easier than I expected. The wood filler is smooth and easy to apply, kind of like thick peanut butter, but it spreads nicely and stays in place. It dries fast, which I loved because I didn’t have to wait all day to sand or paint over it. Once it dried, it was hard and solid, not crumbly or flaky like some others I’ve tried before. I also liked that it didn’t shrink or crack after drying, even on slightly deeper spots. And it took paint and stain really well—it blended right in with the rest of the wood. One tip: don’t leave the lid open too long, or it can dry out a little bit. Just close it tight when you’re done and it should last a while. Whether you’re patching nail holes, fixing furniture, or touching up trim, this is a great product for beginners and DIYers. Highly recommend!

Give it time
Had a friends dog over that decided to chew some trim on the edge of one of my doors. I debated replacing the trim or repairing, ultimately deciding to try and repair first. I bought this for the project. I cleaned up the area by removing all loose material. When I first started adding this product, I was disappointed. It wasn't as "sticky" as I hoped and it seemed dry as others have mentioned. I ended up applying more than I needed, expected to sand it down later. After applied I was worried it wasn't going to stick and all chip out as soon as I started sanding. I gave it overnight. The next day I was very surprised and impressed. This is as close to "real" wood as I have seen. Some magic happened during the drying process. It was very had and adhered extremely well. I was able to both sand and sort of sculpt / chisel / scrap to match the shape of the original trim. I ended up adding some additional material and it bonded much better to the original dried layer of it's own material. I'm handy but no pro and felt this was perfect for the job. Just painted my first coat over it and it seems to be exactly what I needed. The repair is unnoticeable unless you get very close. I can imagine it's only easier / better for small jobs and patching smaller holes.

works but dries too fast.
Good price and does the job but will dry quickly.

Perfect fix for my dog’s wall fudge up.
My dog decided to scratch up the wall and trim, leaving me to have to purchase this. Comes in a nice, resealable jar and is easy to work with. You can opt to use the included tool or if you’re like me, just use your hands. I do wish the color was white to match the wall, but I just got some white paint instead. Nice, texture and consistency that isn’t too thick or too thin. It also cleans up easily and dries quickly. I’m shocked at how well it got the wall and trim looking as good as new.

Great product
This stuff is great! Floors were redone and wife wanted new baseboards and I wanted something better than caulk for nail holes. It is a bit messy but I took a shop vac along the way and it picks it right up! Feels like thick drywall mud but easy to work with!

Works incredibly well
I was re-upholstering an antique chair and after I pulled off the old fabric, I realized much of the wood had splintered where it had been re-upholstered numerous times. Not only was it a mess, it didn’t offer a very smooth or sturdy base for a new row of staples & fresh upholstery. So I used Gorilla Wood glue everywhere it had actually split, but I used this to fill in every single nail hole. Filled in beautifully & sanded down perfectly. I did *not* realize this stuff is super toxic just touching it with your hands—& definitely be careful sanding. Keep pets away from it as well (you don’t want them to get the dust on their feet & lick it off). I always thought it was totally inert but I know now to wear gloves & a respirator. So works great but take some basic precautions.

Not easy to work with
This wood filler seems to be working in an outside application but it’s kind of hard to work with. It seems a little dry in the tub and the directions say to kneed it before use. Well it doesn’t kneed very well and when you go to apply it, the product wants to roll back on itself. It helps if to wet the putty knife but it still seems to be chunky or something. The main problem I find is it seems to contain actual bits of wood pulp or something that prevents it from spreading easily. It does sand beautifully though and feathers very easy. After applying I primed and painted it. Theres a lot of waste when using this wood filler unless all you’re using it for is to fill nail holes in which case it works great. Time will tell if it holds up to the outdoor conditions.

Easy to use
This product is easy to work with. I'm not a professional and I was able to repair a wooden door frame with this. There was a large piece of wood and a gash on the top of the frame on my porch. I used this product and a putty knife to spread on and level it. It looks as good as new now! I did this just before winter and it is holding up perfectly. We have had numerous storms and very harsh weather and this is holding strong.

There aren't many good choices when it comes to sandable, external fillers. Especially ones that are fast setting. I noticed this one is solvent in methylated spirits. This is good and adheres well

Once I figured out how to properly apply the filler (I used small hobby sticks to forcibly push the filler into cracks and joints), this product, once dried, worked well with the sanding and shaping of my plywood projects. Definitely worth the money.
