I got this for PETG. I was having an issue where the PETG would print poorly because of water in the filament. I wanted to try a cheaper dryer to see if it made a difference. Even a little difference would convince me to invest in a higher-end dryer. I was happy to find out this worked perfectly right out of the box and the first time. Changing the settings is not relatively as easy. After getting used to waiting for the settings to blink, I was able to get the settings I wanted. The fan is a little loud, but not too bad. I got my filament working well after just an hour of drying at 50c. I noticed it never gets below 15%; I think that is the sensor's lower limit. I am going to keep this one and will likely not upgrade. It works.

I've used this for the last few months and while it does a great job drying out filament, I can't recommend printing directly out of it. Firstly, the positioning of the rubber grommet that allows the filament to pass through the lid is not in a great spot, I've tried it both above the printer and on the same surface as the printer, and either way this box just wants to pull the lid open or tip it over. Secondly, it's LOUD. I can hear it all the way in my living room through three walls, so don't expect to have it running somewhere that you need quiet. Finally, the rubber grommet that allows filament to pass through the lid isn't super durable, so only after a few days of printing it started to wear out and now the little cap will not stay in place to close it. Operation is very simple with only a single knob where you can select 2/4/8 hours of runtime Overall I would still recommend this as a filament DRYER, but if your intent is to print directly from this I would advise you look elsewhere

I use mine while printing all the time in soggy south Florida. Rollers work quite well and it’s a single dial interface. I do recommend using foam tape, Velcro or clamps to secure it to keep the printer from tugging on it. Also recommend a 3-4” long section of PTFE tube going through the rubber grommet in the lid to make the filament pass through more easy

This worked great to dry filament, until it abruptly broke after only a few months of very casual use. Yes, it maxes at 8 hours as other have said - nothing wrong with that, just turn it on again if you need it longer. The knob as a time adjuster and on/off works fine, it doesn't need a separate on/off button. It did a fantastic job drying filament and feeding it into the printer for about 3 months. Then it randomly started marking harsh grinding sounds like a bearing in the fan was bad. I understand parts fail, but 3 month of use, maybe being on 1-2x a week at most, some weeks never, is not acceptable. A regular user would have to replace this at least quarterly in order to get continual use. Not sure if there's a way to just replace the fan, or if I'll be forking out for another whole unit to dry my filament. Maybe time to try a new company.

Saved an old spool of tpu. Will use it befor printing from now on.

Ordered the black and got the white. Not happy. Can't even message seller to send the right color. This one sucks. The one I ordered had more function. I wouldn't order again unless made right.
