Sing [Blu-ray]

This animated filmi's really very special. The animation is wonderful. The story is excellent. The music is great. The voices are wonderful. A fantastic movie for children or for the child at heart. I Loved this movie.

Is it too early to call this modern classic? The characters are "cute" and yet somehow believable as walking, talking members of a community. My granddaughters, who love anything musical, fell in love with the show.

My kids chose this for their 'movie night' and I didn't watch this the first time, but overheard it while doing other things. My kids then asked for it over and over and over, and I finally sat down and watched it all the way through. Synopsis - Mr. Moon (a koala) owns a theater that was big and successful in the past, and now he's barely scrapping through. He decides to throw a singing contest to bring audiences back to the theater before before the bank forecloses on it. His chameleon secretary, who incidentally has a glass eye that keeps falling out in comedic scenes, accidentally ups the winning amount and the flyers go everywhere in town. The animals who are in the show have different reasons for wanting the win the money. Spoiler alert - at one point everyone finds out Mr. Moon doesn't have the money and the theater crumbles down and the bank takes over the property. Despite this downfall, everyone decides to go ahead with the show even though there is no prize money anymore and it's a success in the community. Cute and happy ending. I really liked that my kids were exposed to a wide variety of songs from this movie, to include Frank Sinatra, some Japanese Pop, Gypsy Kings, classic pop songs and modern pop songs. I believe there are 85 songs in total featured in the film, even for a short period of screen time.

my daughter, a tween, really enjoyed this and got sucked in. I played the soundtrack on the Alexa at school and my HS students were enjoying it too. Just overall a bouncy, fun movie.

We bought this for our kids, ages 4 and 7, and they love it. They've watched it countless times, I catch them singing bits and pieces of the songs in the car and, because the songs are pop songs from the 80s, 90s and today, there's something in there for parents to enjoy, too. The story is simple enough--a struggling theatrical producer launches a talent show to increase business for the theater, and his receptionist accidentally puts a few too many zeros on the grand prize amount, which attracts everyone from miles around to compete. The range of music runs the gamut from pop to rock to even a couple classic Frank Sinatry/Rat Pack tunes from the 50s. I can only think of one scene that could be considered inappropriate for kids, when these three girls are singing the opening lines to "Baby Got Back" (they repeat "oh my gosh, look at her butt"). As long as you don't think your kids won't latch on to that and sing it at the most inopportune time, the movie is otherwise completely safe for kids of all ages. No cursing, no violence, and no sexual innuendo, real or implied. Perhaps the best result of all is that both my boys are now much more interested in music. They're interested in playing with my electronic keyboard, and I hear them actually trying to sing in the car now. Even though my wife and I have exposed them to music since before they were born, they didn't take much interest in singing or playing music until they watched this movie. So who knows, maybe this will unleash the musician in your child, too.

Lo stiamo consumando..bellisssimissimissimo.. Io colleziono i DVD di animazione, e questo ha superato in soli due mesi il numero di visioni rispetto Cars...e io ho due maschietti..di 1,5 e 3 anni.. Le musiche sono fantastiche e il 3d e l'animazione bellissime..storia facile per i bimbi che non annoia mai.. Consiglio il bluray xche l'audio potrebbe sentirsi meglio..io x i costi avevo scelto il DVD, ma prenderò anche il BR!

I think this movie is as much fun (maybe more) for adults as it is for kids. The songs are excellent as is the singing.

おいおい、なんで日本では3Ｄがない？仕方なく外版を買ってしまったではないか。 ユニバーサルはミニオン以外3Ｄは売る気がない？ってか。 とりあえず感想は日本版が手に入って日本語を流しながら鑑賞してから書きますが期待をこめて、また無粋な日本ユニバーサルと違ってちゃんと3Ｄを販売してくれる海外に感謝して☆は５個にしました。 今からでも遅くないから日本版で3Ｄを出してやって、すでに外版を買ってしまった「わたし」は決して「おこったり」しませんから！ 追記：平成２９年８月４日、昨日、日本版が手に入ったのでおなじみの吹き替えを流しながら3Ｄの鑑賞をしてみました。 とりあえず私が手に入れたものはリージョンはＯＫでした。 ストーリーは平凡なものですが予想を裏切らないという点においてはなかなかグー、ただ歌う場面で英語のままだったり吹き替えになったりと脈略がないのがちょっと気になります。 で肝心の3Ｄですが、、、、チラシが「ちらちら」やイカが「くるくる」、カーチェイスなど3Ｄで効果的な場面がなかなかおしゃれ！ブタの「まるまる」な感じやハリネズミの「はりはり」（擬音ばかりでゴメンナサイ）なところも2Ｄじゃわからないでしょうね。 ということでもう一度、言いますが「なぜ3Ｄで発売しない」！これを3Ｄで鑑賞できない日本人は本当に不幸です！！！！ ユニバーサルさんにお願いです。 配給会社にとって「映画」は一生懸命制作した芸術作品だと思います、人間にとっては愛情をこめてこの世に産み出した子どものようなもの。 3Ｄで作成しながらそれを販売しないということはその子どもを成長させずに育児放棄しているネグレストに匹敵する行為だと思います。 一億三千万分の１の意見かもしれませんがどうか一度考え直してこのような作品を採算だけを考えて世の中に出さないという行為をやめていただきたい。 ☆５個以上の価値がある作品だと思いますよ！
