This stuff is amazing! I am on my second bottle. Hot flashes are at zero, I am sleeping through the night and my blood sugar is much easier to control. I really didn't think it was going to do much and I was pleasantly surprised. I am not a good candidate for HRT due to family medical history, so this is a godsend!

I was waiting to write a review after I finish taking the bottle so I am happy with the results. It doesn’t take your hot flashes away completely but it does help them. I was waking up soaking wet hot and after taking these, I was still waking up hot, not as frequent and not soaking wet. I would take one pill as directed a day. I usually took it midday, and I did notice and I did see in a couple other reviews that if you skipped a day,you wouldn’t feel the effects of the pill, but if you continued it the next day it instantly would work. I definitely would recommend it. I guess I was expecting complete relief, but having a little bit of a relief is better than not having any at all.

It has been impossible to sleep because I get so hot at night. I would wake up many times - taking the covers off, then putting them on, then off then on and off and on and off and on again. Taking one of these before bed allows me to sleep through the night. I might wake up once but not the countless times i had before. I really did not think they would have it that significant of an affect, but nights I don’t take them. I wake up often because I’m so hot… and nights I do take them, I sleep so much better.

I am under 40 and had surgical menopause. This made a world of difference! I didn't have hormone replacement therapy and started taking Estrotone immediately after the surgery. I seemed to be doing alright but stopped and started taking a different supplement that someone had recommended and started getting horrible symptoms. I had to go back to Estrotene to support the transition and am having a good transition (I am 5 months post-op).

I thought I was past having hot flashes, but low and behold...they're baaaaack! A friend had mentioned this New Chapter product with high praise, so I thought I'd check it out and compare. Estrotone is a once-a-day small, slick gelatin capsule that delivers 40mg of black cohosh, plus some other goodies. Because it is a liquidy paste instead of a dry tablet like many of the menopause supplements, it can also carry a dose of Evening Primrose oil (GLAs), plus extracts of ginger and rosemary (strong antioxidants), plus an herb called schizandra to supposedly boost liver function. I didn't have much luck with them controlling the flashes, however, so I went back to my old favorite, Hot Flash from Source Naturals. It's got a way heftier does of cohosh, plus it's also got a generous amount of SoyLife (Genistein soy especially) which has been shown to quell the heat. That being said, Estrotone might be fine for you. Other hot flash remedies, like the classic Remifemin that's been studied for decades, only has 40mg as well. Apparently, I require more. LOL Whatever you choose, just give it some time, like a month, before you make your decision on whether to keep taking it or not. Sending good wishes for a cooler you!
