Sulyn SUL51121 4 oz. Glitter Jar - Silver

I ordered this product to use for some of my jewelry making. I had some glitter but it was too fine like dust, and I needed glitter that was a little larger. These glitter pieces are about 1mm which is perfect. It is a nice shiny silver and works well with good quality craft glue.

I got this glitter to use for a "chill out" jar for my toddler. If you're into toddler crafts, basically it's a jar that you fill with water, glue, food coloring, glitter, and corn syrup. The glitter moves about as the toddler moves the jar. It's supposed to not only be memorizing, but it's also supposed to help them calm down--or "chill out." For my craft, I needed a good weight to my glitter. In stores, I'd found small (and expensive) jars of glitter that I worried wouldn't have the right weight to float up and down. I didn't want just a clump of glitter--the weight needed to be substantial, if that makes sense. I found this jar and was happy with the price (who knew glitter was so expensive?!) and the little particles looked to be about the right size. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase. While the jar is relatively small when you have two glitter-loving toddler girls, it's definitely the right weight for my chill out jar project. The particles are slightly under a millimeter in diameter, which is on the larger side for glitter. This is definitely a type of good-quality glitter that I remember from my childhood...not the tiny stuff that I keep seeing all over the place. I took a photo to give you a better idea of the size. Chunky bright silver glitter, exactly what I was looking for. The product arrived in tack (just a few stray pieces of glitter in the box it arrived in). I used this to cover champagne bottles for an event, and the result was as I expected. The glitter pieces were large enough to cover the label of the bottles with just one coat.

Very sparkly glitter. Messy to work with. I had it all over the table and floor by the time I was done with the project I was working on. I guess I'll have to come up with a better way to use the sprinkle bottle. Works good with Mod Podge. Still sparkles through the sealer coat I put on over it. I would like to buy some more in different colors

This is exactly what I wanted. I was looking for some basic silver glitter for some sensory bottles for my little one. This works very well for the job. I am not generally a fan of glitter (*gasp*) so the closure of the jar was important to me for storage. This seals well and has prevented glitter from getting all over. It is important to note that the pieces of glitter are quite large. If you are looking for tiny specs, this is not for you. If you don't mind larger pieces, then go for this one. They aren't obscenely large like sequins, but I would describe them more as flecks than specs... A big upside to the size is that it is easier to clean up, which is perfect for me because I hate finding glitter where I don't want it.

This is some intense glitter! Used it to create pretty bottles for a birthday party (rolled the bottle in Modge Podge and then this glitter) - they turned out gorgeous. Perfect for the purpose I bought it for. It is pretty messy if you're not careful with it. I found using a shoebox for the whole activity helpful...hard to vacuum up when it fell on the carpet.

This is a pretty large jar of basic silver craft glitter. It's somewhat "chunky" hexagon shaped, standard for craft glitter. It's pretty clingy The shaker top is convenient and keeps it reasonably clean in storage. The hole was so difficult to pop/cut out, but that's really my only complaint. Everyone needs a large jar of silver glitter in their craft stash, no matter their age ;)

This is a whole lot of glitter for just a few dollars. It's, well, glittery and very reasonably priced. Be aware that this is the "chunky" glitter, not fine glitter. It's great for crafting with my 5-year old granddaughter whose philosophy is "the more glitzy the better."

Very high quality glitter. A little goes a long way. Despite it being a chunky glitter, you don’t need a lot, which is perfect. Cleanup is easy if you have the proper workspace or drop sheet/paper. Using an aluminum pie plate is recommended, for fallout/unused glitter cleanup, when returning the product to the bottle. Seals very well using Elmers clear glue and a paint brush. I dont recommend using Mod Podge as a sealant, because it doesn’t dry crystal clear.
