Smart Soundbar 900 Dolby Atmos with Alexa voice assistant in White

I updated to the Bose Soundbar 900 from A Bose Sound touch 300 being my new TV had Atoms. The Bose Soundbar 900 is easy to set up with the APP but you need to wait for a good 15 minutes until it finishes updating, the Bose Soundbar 900 found my existing Bose 300 Sub and the Bose 300 surround speakers but they got rename them as Bose 700 sub and left and right surround speaker. The Bose 900 sound good even when you put it up loud, In the App you can just center channel, height channel, bass, treble, also my old 300 sub and the surround speakers The only negative thing is the remote not a lot to it you need to keep going into the App if you need to change the speaker levels apart from volume, also no manual in the box only telling you to get the App, but you can download the manual which give you more information on thing like what the light means

Excellent soundbar, controlled by the bose music app and alexa, turn on dialogue mode in the app for extreme voice clarity, turn it off for music, netflix, prime movies etc, I use it with the 2 wireless surround speakers but not the subwoofer, if you do use the surround speakers remember to turn off dialogue mode in the bose app to get the proper surround effects when watching your 5.1 sound or dolby atmos sound movies on netflix etc, I use dialogue mode when watching ordinary tv which only usually supports 2.0 sound which will not have surround sound and special effects, the bose app tells you if the show your watching is in 5.1, dolby atmos or 2.0 sound, all in all an excellent soundbar for tv shows, music and movies.

After reading numerous reviews, I decided to make the plunge, on what is an expensive piece of kit. Fast delivery, very well packaged and worked pretty much straight out of the box. It did a short firmware update once connected with the router, and that was it. I carried out the Adaptic setup, so the system was fine-tuned for the room layout, and that was it. Great sound, easy to use, and I love the Bose app, where you can also adjust the volume, basx and treble. Yes, its a large outlay, but the many reviews aren't wrong, its a superb piece of kit, thoroughly recommended.

I first purchased the Bose TV Soundbar for about £229. I was really disappointed. It was the first Bose purchase that didn't sound like Bose at all 👎. I then saw this on here at 819.95 on 12th Jan with a voucher for 204.95. Not only this, but the title also Inc 170 cashback from Bose. I snapped it up! 👍 I did have technical issues over the first two weeks, but Bose offer great customer support, & we eventually got it sorted 😁. Wow! What incredible sound! 🔊 I'm tempted to have a party! 🎉🎶😂 Unfortunately the Bose cashback promo which finished on 14/01 was actually only valid if this soundbar was purchased together with the module 700. So miss Sold by Amazon. I have been pursuing this with amazon relentlessly since 01/02. In short, no luck. Fortunately I paid with my credit card, so I will pass the matter over to them to get what I'm owed. Would recommend this soundbar, albeit pricey atm.

Was looking for an upgrade to standard Bose soundbar solo - did research and this one seemed best - the sounds this bar produces alone after setup and without the bass module are very impressive - with Atmos you have sounds all around u too - clean and crisp with punchy base. What a product 😎👏👏👏👍👍👍

Update: I have since found a workaround to the connection problem. Basically I noticed that the soundbar takes 10 seconds to properly turn on and connect to the network (when there is white light blinking). Do not turn on the TV while the white light is blinking. Only turn on the TV when there is no more white blinking light and it will connect to the TV. I cannot believe that a company with a good reputation in audio tech produced such a sub par product. When it works the sound quality is good , not great but good enough for my small living room. But the connection to my LG gallery 2 TV is a nightmare. Most of the time it does not connect! I have to restart the whole system (TV and soundbar) for the connection to establish. Sometimes I have to restart several times. The user experience is absolutely awful. I contacted their tech support and it is not helpful. Now I have a useless soundbar in my living room and it is frustrating me more than it is entertaining me. What a shame.

Best sound bar I’ve had or head love the fact that you can make the vocals more provident than the background sound as tvs really struggle with this so now I don’t have to keep turning the tv up and down The Ai works great when setting up and is very easy to do and the sound is very crisp and clear Also wrorks great with your mobile device to play all your favourite music

Bought this to replace bose solo 5 and it's the best decision ever sound quality nothing like other and highly recommend this to music lover

One of the best if not the best, A great surround sound capabilities just puts you in, feels like a theatre. Can get really loud, clear crisp sound easy to understand dialogues. And the best for music. I got it with the bose 700 subwoofer it really works great together. Recommended to get them together for best results. Well done Bose. GG

Sound is decent and does the job as expected for the price. The reason we chose this over other products is because of the built-in Alexa feature. Only to discover after a lot of troubleshooting that Bose does not support Alexa in Singapore and many other countries. Google Assistant is available here. It varies by country and nowhere is it stated that this is the case. Disappointing to be promised a feature that in reality doesn’t exist. Purchased from Amazon Singapore.

Bad update ruined the device, do not buy! After using this for since 2023 Bose released a terrible update that caused my TV to stop recognizing the Soundbar completely. I tried everything to fix the problem but failed, which forced me to buy a different soundbar. My advice to you: do not buy this expensive device. The technical support and compatibility are extremely poor."

The best smart soundbar available in the market. Performance as always top-notch from Bose. I would recommend this product.
