What is the diameter of the part that is inserted into the bottle?

If you mean "inserted into the bottle" that you will be pulling liquid out of, its one inch. If you mean "inserted into the bottle" that you will be putting liquid into, it's about 1/2 inch.

How long (in inches) is the siphon tube in it's most collapsed state and NOT including the tubing?

Thanks for asking. This Mini Auto Siphon measures 14 inches long when collapsed.

Does this work with oils? Such as olive oil.

I dont think the length of the syphon tubing would not work with oils.

Thanks for asking. This Auto Siphon is made in Canada.
