Classic comfort dessert, simple but really satisfying
Haven’t had this in years and it’s still just as comforting as I remembered. The texture is smooth and creamy, and it works really well either hot or cold depending on what you’re having it with. I’ve mostly been using it with apple pie and sponge pudding, but it’s honestly nice straight from the can too if you want a quick dessert. The flavour is sweet and creamy without tasting overly artificial. The only downside is that it can feel a bit too sweet if you have a large portion, especially on its own. Overall, a classic cupboard dessert that’s easy to keep around and great for quick comfort food.
