does the receiver have line level RCA outputs? If so you can connect them to the RCA inputs of the amp. A better option if there is more than a few feet between them involved is a couple DI boxes to convert to balanced audio and connect with XLR cables. You could also use the DI boxes to convert speaker level outs to balanced audio as long as you are careful and use the pads correctly, or there are speaker level to line level converters that do about the same thing. Sorry, it isn't the easiest answer, but it can be done.

If this amplifier doesn't even get warm at 4 ohms bridged, will it be safe to wire at 2 ohms or 1 ohms bridged?

personally I cant answer that as I returned my shortly after purchasing... however head to the forums at www.audioholics.com. This amp has a little following there and they can probably answer your questions. good luck.

Google "series and parallel speakers". Roughly, if you wire two identical 8 ohm speakers to the same channel you can think of them as being one single speaker. If you wire them in series, add the ohms together. If you wire them in parallel, two 8 ohm speakers will be treated as a single 4 ohm speaker.
