I just received my screen and assembled it in about 3 hours(I screwed up and had to backtrack after not reading the directions fully). I used needle-nosed pliers instead of their included tool which made attaching the tension springs much easier. If you have a large open space, assembly is not difficult. If your floor space is tight, tip-toeing around the screen/frame while it is on the ground can be tedious and a second person to assist in assembly would be helpful. Regarding quality, this screen is excellent. If you were unaware, this is an Elite Screen model, branded as Akia. I am by no means an expert, but Elite Screens appears to be one of the biggest players in the projector screen market. The aluminum frame parts are heavy duty and the velvet border makes the screen look luxury/professional. In our new house, we needed a larger screen as our previous one was too small. My wife and I were heavily debating between getting a fixed frame screen or a retractable screen(similar to our previous one). We ultimately decided on this one for aesthetics/quality, and are very satisfied with our choice. The image quality of this screen is also excellent. Granted, we are likely less conscious of image quality than others might be. We threw the projector on the wall for 3 months before we got this screen and were only mildly bothered by it. However, once this was set up, it was a VERY noticeable difference in image quality. Even compared to our previous retractable screen, this screen was a step up. Overall, I think this option is currently the best value for a fixed frame screen.

I've had the screen a year now. Assembly was kind of tricky trying to understand how it goes together. The little spring hooks made things kind of tough and during assembly I wasn't confident it would work. Hanging it was a bit tough for me trying to figure out the perfect spot to put it and then making sure I understand where the mount points were. I incidentally hung the screen lower than I wanted to but I was able to work it out. I'm not going to fault the product for that because that's my inexperience hanging items that's showing through. Good product and no complaints so far.

This is my quick review for the 110 inch screen. What I was using before for my projector screen was just my wall nothing else, while I thought this was fine and my kids had no issue with there was times I could see the drywall pattern during the movie. Finally pulled the trigger on this screen and I'm glad I did. Before it arrived I saw a couple videos on how to put it together seemed easy enough. Once it arrived got everything in place and started to put it together. While it was easy to put together I did find it kind of tedious to put in all the hooks and be on my hands and knees for a while. I'm a bigger guy so not easy lol. But took my time and everything went into place no issues. I would say it took me about 2 hrs maybe 2hrs and half around there. For most people I think it may take less than that. I went slow putting this together. Man and after the screen is all assembled it looks great! Put it together one day and the next day I put it up on the wall. To get it on the wall you will need someone to help. Makes it easier. Once I got it up on the wall and adjusted my projector to it, it looks great! My kids absolutely love it, and you can tell a big difference from projecting to wall and the screen. Also gives the room a more theater like feel. Very happy with the purchase. I added some pictures of it setup on the wall and a quick video. Hope this helps you in deciding if you want to go with one of these.

I bought the 110” framed screen. Frustrating assembly instructions and parts. This screen does not use the metal tension springs like the photos and video show. It came with plastic pieces for tension. 18 of them broke during installation because, surprise surprise, plastic is not a good replacement for metal tension springs. With the amount that broke, I cannot get the screen to stretch to size. There are lines in the screen. Also, the mounting screws broke somehow. I ended up using my own screws to mount the screen to the wall. See pictures for examples. Once mounted, it looks fine, but it could be so much better if it came with metal tension springs like advertised.
