SRAM HS2 DISC BRAKE ROTOR 160mm ROUNDED 6-BOLT SILVER/BLACK

I have tried several SRAM rotors over the years. Other models have squealed really bad on downhill adventures. It’s annoying being the guy that everyone can hear down the hill. Right before I was ready to switch to another brand, I came across the HS2 model and I heard that they had solved rotor squeal. I upgraded to SRAM Code RSCs on one bike and silver Stealths on another. I put these rotors on both bikes and I haven’t had a single squeal all season long. This is a massive improvement over other brake rotors and an A+ to SRAMs design department. It’s also thicker than other Sram rotors, so they should theoretically last longer as well. I highly recommend them. Plus they look way cool.

I installed this new rotor on my Specialized Turbo Levo, and it's a massive improvement over the stock brake (I believe it was the SRAM CenterLine that originally came with the bike). The difference in braking power is immediately noticeable. This rotor delivers consistent stopping power, even on steep trails, and it holds my weight with no problem. I've pushed it pretty hard and haven't experienced any overheating or fade — it stays cool and performs reliably, which is exactly what I need when riding aggressively. Amazing quality breaking feel stiffer

I'm not the biggest lover of SRAM MTB disk brakes, so I wanted to do everything possible to make the feel/performance of the CODE RSCs that came on my bike more like that of my Shimano XTs. The difference is subtle, but I do feel that there is a little more bite and power with these than the Centerline rotors that came on the bike. Braking is quiet, and the stopping power is acceptable.

Much needed upgrade for a bigger rider. Weighing in at 230 has an. impact on stopping, so a larger rotor is essential. just keep working to get them centered, which seems to be hardest part.

Great upgrade from 180 on the front. The extra stopping power is noticeable. Be sure you can upgrade based on your fork and get the caliper bracket if needed.

Fitted to a brand new wheel just been trued. Disc was badly warped. Massive brake rub. Had to bend it back to right it.
