Great for monitoring the flow of an enema.

I put this on an Water Cooled Air Gun Compressor so I can look and see if the water is flowing and it works great lot easier to see

They work well on a liquid fertilizer feed line; let's me know at a glance if the submerged pump is working. I was fearful of leaks, but so far they haven't leaked a drop.

I spend my Saturdays docenting at the International Printing Museum, in Carson, California. We are a working museum, able to use, demonstrate, and teach classes on most of our collection. A Ludlow Typograph is a hand-set linecasting system. And the mold is water-cooled. And even the newest Ludlows are some 50 years old. I was experiencing problems with clogging in the cooling system, and resolved to add a filter (an ordinary automobile fuel filter) and a flow indicator. The first flow indicator I installed (also purchased on Amazon) was a bit problematic, but it did the job for several years. Having achieved proof-of-concept with that first one, I decided to replace it with a better one, and this is the model I chose. It seems to be less restrictive on coolant flow than the first one, and much easier to see.

I bought it to make sure I don't have clogs in my single pump continuous mining system. It's not exactly cheap, but it's not cheaply made either. I like that it's a super simple slip-on hose end. Neat to see it spinning. It is totally noise-free.

So I use this for a somewhat stranger purpose than most intend to, but if you're also a bit strange and want a flow indicator for your enema bag, then this is perfect. This fits all of my 5/16" and 1/4" tubing without issue. I just snipped some tubing about 4" down from where the tube connects to the bag and put it in-between. Doesn't seem to slow down flow much too. The barbs on it are also three separate sizes, so you can just notch it into whichever that fits your tubing. It may not move at first if it's not filled with water initially, but it takes seconds for that to happen, and it's never been an issue while in use. I strongly recommend this for anyone using enema bags, especially opaque bags and bags larger than 2-quarts. It helps so much if you're using longer nozzles too, where you might not realize the flow stopped because the tip is pressing into stool or the colon wall, or even indicate if the bag isn't high enough.

Besonders praktisch wenn die Pumpe nicht zu hören ist. So sieht man ihre Funktion durch den Durchfluss.

Es muy facil de instalar, me llego muy rapido y no hace nada de ruido, ademas de ser un buen chivato por si la bomba de agua se rompe y no hace el flujo de agua!. y para aquellos que tengan dudas como a mi me paso de como instalar este componente a la refrigeracion liquida es muy sencillo, corte y a presion para el tubo! y no sale ni gota y queda IMPRESIONANTE!
