I use this cutter in a Dewalt 3/8" drill at 2500 rpm with the work (wood) clamped to the bench or delicate stuff in my lap. It cuts faster than sanding wheels and leaves a nice arc if you don't tilt it too far to the edge. It doesn't "catch" unless you are really careless and not focused. If your careless or bounce it your delicate work will be shattered. I have used it on maple so far and it works well. The teeth don't seem to clog up which amazed me to no end. Again you want to take nice shallow passes to keep from gouging the surface. This disc has a smaller hole in it (not 5/8") so you would have to have a special smaller sideways carving tool to use it ala body grinder. I like it. JJK

This is a great bur. Just would have like the grinder to last longer than the Bur!!

I'm sculpting with a epoxy putty (EZKarve), and this does a good job grinding it. It's not like using a sanding disc, but removes what can later be sanded.

I used it for roughing out a woodcarving. Having previously been using a 4.5 inch grinder with an ARBORTECH blade, I found this 2 inch disk to be a great addition when used in a Proxxon Long neck angle grinder- bridging the gap from very rough to finer shaping before going on to finish with hand tools or roatary power tools.

I returned this wheel because the mounting hole was a bit too large to fit the .375" arbor on my Arbortech Grinder. I purchased a SaburrTooth 2" wheel which was a perfect fit.

I do a lot of bowls, boxes, and art pieces. Since I started using this on my mini- grinder, I reach for this tool for many-many tasks in my shop. Easy to keep clean, and it stays sharp! Ron Tosh Wood Atrist

This little disc works amazingly well, would definitely recommend. It could be a bit less expensive.
