Nutricost Serrapeptase 40,000 SPU, 120 Capsules - Gluten Free, Non-GMO, and Vegetarian Friendly

When I first read about this supplement it seemed ideal. It is great for health and does a kind of blood cleansing action, removing debris within the body's blood stream, which boosts a healthier interior atmosphere for those who supplement with it. I immediately ordered it, then later found out it is not a good idea to take this supplement with any blood thinner you may be taking, such as aspirin. I often use aspiring to eliminate discomforts that are fairly chronic. I could change over to taking other pain relief, such as Ibuprofen, but that compound does not eliminate inflammation as far as I know, and is therefore not as good as aspiring to reduce pain, swelling and the resulting discomfort. If I do change to taking Ibuprofen for pain relief, I should be able to take this exciting supplement that helps the body rid itself of junk that clogs the blood stream, and in that way pollutes our internal environment, aging us as it continues to accumulate if not periodically removed. Incidentally, this supplement is found in fermented foods, and eaten often on a daily basis in Japan, a country with some of the longest lived people in the world.

I’m actually glad these are not enteric coated because I don’t want plastic in my system. I find it helps in clearing up the body of unnecessary waste and fibers. It will thin the blood so be careful with it. Take it along with some vitamin C or eat plenty leafy greens when taking.

I've used Nurtricost for a variety of supplements now - TMG (Betaine Anhydrous ), Magnesium, Citric Acid, Matcha Powder and now Serrapeptase. I like the brand - it is consistently good. My husband takes 120,000 SPU serrapeptase every morning (and had for about 8 years), but that is too much for me. I take 40,000 SPU and like that dose for me. (He's 6' 2" 220 lbs. I'm 5' 5" 160 lbs.) So, I ordered this for myself. These capsules are easy to swallow and haven't caused me any trouble. I've used Doctor's Best (boo for the name) previously, but these seem to be just as good as that brand. My husband takes serrapeptase for heart health. While I do, as well, my main reason for taking it is my eyes - trying to get rid of floaters. It does seem to help with this.

This + Nattokinase probably saved my life. I wasn't expecting to feel anything, but the blood rushed to my head, and my senses became acute for a little bit. Probably dissolved s blockage.

This product is not enteric coated or delayed release so most of it will be used or destroyed in your stomach acid before ever making it to your intestine. Waste of money. Doctor's best brand is delayed release. Use Grok or ChatGPT to verify yourself. I will contact the manufacturer for a refund
