I'm not on a diet..but I still enjoy using this product as a protein supplement since I am a vegetarian. I was introduced to this brand by a friend who uses many of these items to loose weight. Well, after trying it, I was very happy with the quality and taste of this product. So I was even more pleasantly surprised to discover that it was available here on Amazon. I ordered a box of this before going overseas on a mission trip. I wanted to have something to supplement my meals while in a foreign country. I also wanted something to substitute a meal in the event that I needed a quick meal on the go. These were perfect!! I have tried IDEAL PROTEINs brand of vanilla protein shakes and loved them. To me, this was identical in taste and texture. I am soooo pleased with this product -- the taste and price-- that I plan to keep on ordering it. Plus, the speed of shipping, and the cost of shipping, makes it well-worth purchasing from here on Amazon. Don't hesitate to purchase this. If you've used other instant vanilla high protein shakes before, from other more expensive brands/companies, you won't be disappointed with this one!

Great choice
My FIL and I follow Optivia. We each lost 30 lbs and still going. I tried this brand to save some money here and there. This worked for us taste wise and it’s 50% off the name brand we buy in our monthly order. We enjoy it.

Amending previous post
started using this product after my gastric bypass surgery. I'm a picky eater, but I think it is delicious. I love the protidiet line and have tried several products. There is nothing that I have not liked. I just received a new shipment of the vanilla shake. They added buttermilk and other ingredients. It is now watery and lacks the rich flavor. It came in silver packets. Will have to start the search for a new protein shake.

Don't order of your on Ideal Protien
Can't drink it if your on ideal Protien!!!! But the taste was ok , but if you add a little cinnamon you will have a good drink!!!
