Can I mount this bracket on stone/block/brick?

Absolutely! The included screws are intended for wood installation. For stone we recommend substituting Tapcon screws.

How do I drill the holes in my shelf?

We have a Drill Guide Kit designed just for that purpose! Ours are CNC machined from solid steel and include a custom made .79" high helix drill bit. If using your own drill bit any size over .75" works.

Can I install directly over drywall?

You can, and lots of people do! You'll be weight limited due to the compressibility of drywall . We recommend mounting straight to a wood substrate using either blocking or replacing a strip of drywall the size of the bracket with plywood.

What if my bracket is damaged in shipping?

No worries! We stand behind our product 100% and will happily send a replacement for any reason.

Do I need to recess the back of my shelf?

Maybe. If you're surface mounting the bracket (not behind the drywall) then you'll want to recess your shelf. We have a kit for that too that includes the router bit and a laser cut steel template.
