MusicNomad MN106 TUNE-IT Lubricant, 10 mL

Excellent lubricant for guitars! High viscosity clear paste that works great on Saddles and Nuts. I also use it to lub Tuning Machine Peg Gears - it lasts long and stays where you put it. The squeeze tube applicator works good and the 10ml size lasts a lot longer than you may think. Its good for all moving and friction parts and is a small, but necessary, cost.

Perfect for the nut. Nearly clear. Doesn't run and make a mess. Works good on a bone nut. Tiny dab about the size of a pin head is enough. I add again at string change.

Playing guitar since the hair metal glory days of 1984, so…many years of experience. But always with a hardtail Les Paul or Tele. Recently got my first Strat and was excited about a trem bar after all these years. Needless to say the tuning issues were out of this world, and I was wondering if the Strat just wasn’t for me. Out of desperation I got Tune-It and applied in the right places. WHY did I not get this 40 some years ago. Tuning stability is greatly, greatly improved. Grabbing the bar with confidence and feeling like SRV at last. Very impressed with Tune-It!!

Great for other lubricating tuners and bridges not so much for nuts. My tuners turn great after applying these. For the nut not so much its not really viscous enough in my opion. I applied enough on my guitar nut and in a matter of a couple of sessions my low e string slot grinded the nut enough to get fret buzz and i needed to get my nut replaced. Maybe i should give it another try though but im scared ill have to replace my nut again. So tuneres yes nut not so much

I rarely review items, but this item is an effective, simple and inexpensive solution to the problem I had with my Les Paul Studio going out of tune. I really like the Les Paul I own, but I just couldn't use the darned thing live because I could not keep it in tune. The internet is filled with information on this - mostly around the headstock angle, tuner issues and the cut of the nut. But my guitar had been Plek'd and professionally set up - I did not want to try and modify the thing and potentially introduce new issues. I thought the TUNE-IT Lubricant would be a low-cost way to try something that was non destructive, and I couldn't be more impressed. 15 minutes of loosening the existing strings and lubricating the nut absolutely did the trick. I plugged in and really hammered on the thing with heavy bending of the strings and could not replicate the problems I'd had before. This should be a first stop for others in trying to correct tuning problems. I am also convinced it will extend the life of the strings as well based on what it is and what it's effect produces. Wow! Customer had an Ernie Ball Majesty that had noise in the bridge when they put pressure on the trem bar. Loosened the strings, added some lube in the nut slots and lo voila! It stopped the noise when using the trem bar! This stuff is a must have for your guitar tech kit!

Now when I set up my guitar instead of using lead from a pencil, I'll use this over the nut and wherever else I can as well like the saddles

Lube your nuts. All of them. Every single one. If you neglect your nuts they’re going to neglect you. Especially that pesky G string.

Il suffit d'en mettre très peu mais suffisamment pour ne pas en gaspiller, et ça dure. Vraiment bien. Tient ses promesses niveau optimisation de tenue d'accordage et confort de jeu accru du fait de meilleure justesse. Je recommande pour achat les yeux fermés. Tip top !
