Do you have to use all 10 when assembling or can you use a few and add more later?

Have to use all of them as I remember. They all attach to each other to form one solid arrangement.

Are the openings 4x6 or will some of the picture be cut off?

The opening is perfect for 4X6 pictures.

Do you need to put the pictures in first before assembly?

No. You can put them in the assemble according to what pictures you want where. Or assemble then add your pictures.

You did not include vital part, part A-I assume I need 10?

Yes. You can lay it out on the floor to get an idea of which piece goes to the next one.
