DonJoy Performance POD® ANKLE SUPPORT - White - Small - Right

I was hesitant to purchase this because I thought it would be like every other brace I have used before. This thing is fantastic. I reinjured (sprained) my ankle last week. I have been trying another type, and it was just causing more pain. This brace immobilized the ankle, but it still allowed me to run and play pickleball. I don’t know how it works, but it does. My whole foot felt comfortable and safer than it has in years. Well done and well made product.

I bought 2 different braces after my ankle gave out on me twice while building a deck. My ankle seems to roll sideways for some reason, so I thought I’d try wearing a brace. I bought this brace and one called an ultra zoom. Both are good, but I like the way this one is so easy to put on; feels snug & secure, yet still allows for good movement; slips into my shoe easily; and is comfortable enough to wear all day. I usually don’t even remember that I’m wearing it. I have been able to wear it in my Xtratuf boots, but it’s a very tight fit. I’m a biologist, so I’m frequently wading through streams, or walking over rough and sometimes steep terrain in the middle of nowhere by myself. Having a brace that I can rely on is critical. So far I’ve had no further issues with my ankle, and I think the brace has done it’s job. I wear a shoe size of 11 and got the medium size. My ankle circumference is 13”.

I purchased this after a prescription brace didn't work. This one does a great job holding my sub-tarsal joint in place. There have been a few adjustments I had to make. The sock inside the brace was too tight and was cutting off the circulation to my toes. A few ¼" cuts at three places corrected that. In addition, The strap when connecting the brace after putting it on was 1½" too long. The strap would grab on anything it would touch, so a piece of Velcro cut 2" gave me plenty of room to attach the end. The same issue with the trap across the bottom. That one was 2" too long, and the piece would fold when putting the brace in my shoe. A small piece of Velcro now holds it in place. My chiropractor said he wished it was made of a different material that would allow blood flow. He's intending to purchase one and modify it for me. In all, the brace has been a life saver for me. It's comfortable now after the small adjustments.

Love it , i have an extremely high instep, so a little tight on off but does what i hoped for, alot of support for worn ankle ligaments, so stretch there is no pain , but ankle turned easily , this product gives true real support without impeding desired movements

I have a long history of inversion ankle rolls and most recently such a roll out on trail run resulted in an avulsion fracture. In researching braces for after my immediate recovery, this brace has excellent reviews and the predominance of folks says this brace is very supportive. I’m still in my Bauerfeind immobilizer during the day, but I do have a softer immobilized to wear at night. While switching out today, I decided to give the pod a fit check. It fits fine, but it offers almost zero support - it is just too flimzy to prevent another roll on the trails. I have a very hard time believing this brace does much of anything, except take up space in my shoe. This will be returned.

I bought this strap to alleviate a drop foot condition, for which it worked very well. But I had to give it only three stars because of their customer service. I broke the ankle strap, which I don't blame on the product but rather of two years of tugging on it, the problem is when I tried to order a replacement. I was shunted to three different departments getting comments which ranged from buy another brace ( which I likened to throwing out a pair of shoes because a shoestring broke) to "we don't make those straps any more". I feel that parts should be available, it isn't as though I was asking for a free strap, I wanted to buy the strap. So, good product, terrible service.

My daughter is in club volleyball. She absolutely loves her Don Joy ankle braces compare to many other brands we tried. Specifically because they are super easy to put on and take off (no laces) along with the feeling of protection and comfort. She purchase her second set this year 2025 and usese her 2024 versions for practice. We purchased the medium size as my daughter's shoe size is 9 in women's size. She has crushed a few feet this last season and so far no injuries to report. Also, it did take her about 5 practices to get use to them but now she can't play without them. I definitely recommend this product if you're looking for a modern look, simple to put on take off, and offers exceptional protection.

I’ve been using laced ankle braces to play racquetball. These are amazing! Light weight, easy to put on and take off. I’m actually surprised the reviews aren’t higher. Glad I bought them!!
