This was an absolute hit. The production quality alone makes it feel legit — the evidence envelope, police reports, newspaper clippings, photos, receipts — everything is thoughtfully designed and immersive. It doesn’t feel like a “game,” it feels like you’re actually working a case. The clues are layered and intelligent without being impossible. It challenges you to slow down, pay attention, connect details, and think critically. No cheap tricks — just solid storytelling and well-structured evidence that builds toward a satisfying conclusion. We played it as a small group for dinner and it sparked great conversation and teamwork. It would work just as well for a date night or even solo if you enjoy puzzles and true-crime style investigations. Highly recommend if you like solving things, reading between the lines, and feeling like a detective for the night. Worth every penny.

These mysteries have become a staple for our girls night get togethers! They are very well thought out and we love using our detective skills to figure out the email passwords (well, most of the time 😂) and trying to find the hidden clues. We've done a few different ones now and no two were alike. They really do take us a few hours to solve, and sometimes we even need to step away for the night and pick back up the next morning after our brains could rest. They have different levels of difficulty so you can decide how challenging you want it to be. We tend to write notes all over the documents, but you could easily keep everything and pass it along to another person/group to solve. We really feel they are worth the price and look forward to solving more in the future!

A group of 6 of us ( all in our 50's) played this on New Years Eve. Took us about 4 hours (but that included delays from drinking, and New Years countdown). Everyone found it intriguing. We had to bring up the online portion on a TV for all to see. Online hints were key to solving the mystery. Very engaging. Well worth the money for a group gathering. Lots of information. Very realistic evidence. The cipher was challenging.

This turned out to be an awesome date night activity. Instead of just watching a movie or scrolling on our phones, we got to actually work together and solve the case. The clues are really well done and make you feel like real detectives going through evidence. It’s a great mix of challenging but still fun, and it kept us engaged the whole time. Highly recommend if you want something different for a date night or even a small group hangout.

This was a fun date night for my husband and I although some of the evidence was difficult to decipher. If you're a novice to games like these it can be quite challenging. Thankfully there is an online "hints" page.

Murder of a Millionaire My husband and I love detective stories so we planned a date night around the game. It was a blast — a few beers around a cheery fire while the snow was falling outside — definitely the highlight of the week! Some head-scratching clues though — a map with no key re distance, a train schedule we could not figure out, and a “crack the code” hint that made no sense at all to us. Overall a very well done game. We had our suspects narrowed down and then went thru the “hints” which confirmed our guess. We are hooked and ordering more — which hopefully will last us through the rest of our Lake Erie winter! Highly recommend!

Fun date night. Hubby said he would do another one with me! Could be a fun double date night. Took the 2 of us 2.5 hrs. All the evidence was included, and the web links worked as described. Pretty creative and very well thought through. Hunting for our next cryptic killer to solve!

Super thorough and fun game! Took me and a friend exactly 2 hours to complete. There were some fun plot twists and the evidence material felt real! Loved this game and will be purchasing another!

Was very fun, was difficult enough for people that haven’t attempted a murder mystery before. We managed to solve it correctly! 😁 Excellent value for money, all the evidence and pictures provided in the back were easy to read and good quality. The actual murder plot was good and there’s plenty to go through physically and online (going through emails).
