A nice sized mug for solving a mystery or just enjoying a cup of tea. They have plenty of famous quotes from Sherlock Holmes on it. The mug itself is sturdy and the inside is dark so tea and/or coffee stains won't show. It is a little wider than most of the mugs I have so be aware if space is tight. Sherlock Holmes fans will like this as a gift.

A nice heavy mug with a good strong handle. I like the way the lip curves out just slightly. The black interior adds interest and doesn't show staining from coffee or tea, which I like. This mug, along with my other Unemployed Philosopher's Guild mug, holds up extremely well with dishwasher use. No peeling, fading, or weakening of the handle at all. I'm also a bit of a klutz, so if I bump it against the counter, I don't have to worry about it shattering. The outside looks just as good in person as in the pictures, if not better. I really appreciate the attention to detail and enjoy all the great Holmes quotes and iconography. I also like that it is classic canonical Holmes and not merchandise from one of the many adaptations. The Unemployed Philosopher's Guild always produces such stunning, high quality products that I had no qualms or even hesitated about buying this. If something (God forbid) happens to this mug, I know I will not hesitate to replace it.

This wonderful mug will soon become an essential item for your kitchen and study. On the day it arrived, I quickly made myself a full serving of English tea (I know it says "coffee mug"in the product description, but certain traditions must be observed), then proceeded to explore all that is displayed on the outside of this very sturdy cup. Besides great quotes from The Canon, there is a wonderful Sidney Paget illustration of Sherlock Holmes, plus representative images of the Victorian era which lend an air of authenticity to this item. This mug is Marveolus!!! Every Sherlock Holmes fan should have it in their homes. The Colors and quality of the mug exceeded my expectations.

This cup is so elegant! The quality is outstanding and I enjoy drinking from this cup. The edge is not straight like most cup but is curved outward just enough that I makes a huge difference. This size is perfect for the large cup setting on my Keurig to allow for the addition of Creamer to the coffee. I am going to buy another! Note: I do normally prefer a large handle to use all 4 fingers to grip the cup but I don’t fault the designer for my preferences- I am happy to hold the cup as is or wrap my hands around the sides

This mug is great. We've used it heavily for over a year and it hasn't faded or chipped at all. We put it in the microwave and dishwasher too. My husband bought it for me as a gift and I thought the box it came in was so cute. The black interior is a cool touch.
