Excellent tin opener
Was sceptical about this tin opener. Have tried a lot of different brands but l was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to use, but the first time l used it, it didn't look like it had opened the can. The lid didn't lift to take off but was easy to lift off the can and there weren't any sharp edges either. So much safer l feel. The only negative is if one has problems with their grip.

Incredible.
I don't often review items but I must admit that this is the best can opener I ever bought. Easy to use, durable and opens cans without sharp edges.

Not good
Unfortunately I put it in bin. Very dangerous as when you try to open it it left plenty of little metal sharp pieces on the edge of tin. And I still couldn't open the tin.

No sharp edges
Saw this on a you tube video and it does exactly what it says on the tin……..opener…..no mess, no sharp edges and is the best can opener it have used.

Ceased working after a month of use.
No longer sharp and ceased working after a month of use, providing poor value for the price. In the short time it functioned correctly lids were removed well and were safe to handle. The design of the handle is rather small meaning it can be awkward to turn.

Item doesn’t work! Doesn’t even pierce the tin let alone open it. Terribly badly made.

Recommended! The real McCoy
This is the real McCoy. I bought a Starfrit safety can opener and I had to throw it out. It cut the can below the lid and left a super sharp edge. Dangerous! This opener cuts right to though the thick part of the lid. So there is no sharp edge! You can actually put the lid back on and put it back into the fridge. I highly recommend it.

It's Soild As A Rock! Get them while you can
I love this can opener! I was really debating buying it. I remember (to me) the first side cutting can opener came out ( I'm not saying how long ago that was!! LOL.). They were the worst!!! They would brake after the 1st or 2nd time. That's if it even opened the can. With that still in my head, I threw caution to the wind and bought 2 of them, the price was really lower than what I had to spend on 1 every few months because it would brake. When I got them I was shocked at first at the soild feel of it. And to my surprise, there was more (shocks) to come! At first the crank was a little hard to get going, but that didn't last. It opened the can like a butter knife through melted butter. That was it for me!! I was in love with this beauty! I only had 2 problems with it. The first one was on me. I forgot to turn the crank backwards (don't laugh ;) I did enough for us all). The second thing was that my son stole my other one :) . But that's fine. I think this little beauty is going to be around for a long time! I use it Every Chance I get. I love that once you remove the can opener you just take the lid off, and you can put it back on and you can not tell even close up that the can was opened. And there was no sharp places or nothing. Take my advice go get one and try it for yourself. I Really don't think you'll be disappointed at all. All I've got to say now is THANK YOU, RICKUNCL, FOR MAKING A PRODUCT THAT IS NOT ONLY VERY AFFORDABLE, BUT IS BUILT TO LAST! JUST LIKE THEY DID IN THE OLD DAYS. Just PLEASE DON'T CHANGE. Please don't start making cheap products and sell them at outrageous prices.🐕. I am so glad I saw the can opener, and decided to give it a try. That is one time I'm so happy to say "I was wrong". Oh by the way, the crank did loosen up really quick. Unlike a different regular can opener I got in case this one was not up to the job. That one will be collecting dust. If you're like me with Arthritis starting up in my hands, please give this one a chance. And it doesn't take up much room, so easy to clean (it does not even get close to the contints of the can), and it really does look and feel like it belongs in a high class restaurant! It has the high class look and the soild feel of a High Class Restaurant, but at a price that we all can afford.
