Great Headset for Truckers
I got these as a Valentine’s Day gift and waited to review them as sometimes these tho gs break within a few months especially for what it cost. As a trucker, these are great. Noise cancellation is top tier. People on the other end of my call don’t even hear my air horn when I blow. It’s so quiet that people always ask me if I’m still there. Batteries last about 2 weeks. Eat muffs big enough to cover your ears and comfortable to wear for hours. It’s very loud. I’ve had blue parrot 550 and they can’t compare. I love them. truckers, this is it and no I’m not getting anything to write this review. Just an honest good product at a really great price

Great headset
Works like it should, ear muff does get a bit warm that your ear sweats a bit, but it works great, comfortable, lite weight, easy to use, seems like it could be made more heavier duty, you don't want to toss them around, gentle care, you can drive with your head out the window and they still are crystal clear

Best Headset, lowest Price
I like this headset waaay better than the Rand McNally or Blue part. Longer range from phone, Clear crisp Reception... Not only that, they last a couple years, Where both of the rand McNally ones had a broken arm on the earpiece within 2 months. I like the way the earpiece is made. I like the way it pivots to adjust or even store. Twice the headset, for less than half the cost.

Nice Quality, Excellent Range But, Volume Too Low and Exterior Noise Not Suppressed Adequately
This is an item I have a lot of experience with. I have been using a "Trucker Headset" for close to fifteen years. For much of this time I was a loyal user of one of the original purpose-made Trucker Bluetooth headsets. I won't mention the specific brand as I am not reviewing one of those here. But I was moderately pleased with their contemporary headsets as time passed. They did seem a bit fragile to me, with a lot of plastic parts. The ear pads and foam microphone covers were also fragile and wore out too soon or came off easily and were lost. This did improve over the generations, but they still remained relatively easy to damage, and the plastic parts prone to wear and breakage. A larger problem I have had with them was with the firmware, especially on newer generations, where they would do things like turning off unexpectedly, mid-call, or lock up totally, to the point where they could not be turned off manually. You would have to connect them to a charger, which would "Vulcan Neck Pinch" the unit and shut it off. I mention all of this, as it sets the stage for what I was looking for in a new replacement headset. This EKSA Truck Driver Headset arrived well packaged. I charged it fully and it was easy to immediately connect to my phone. The earpiece is an over the ear type. That took a little getting used to, as all of my others have been of the on the ear design. Reading the ad text initially, I assumed this unit included some sort of environmental noise cancellation, as to the ear speaker. If you read the text carefully you can divine it does not have this feature, which was disappointing. It seems they rely on the over the ear design to cancel or exclude the environmental sounds. This is not a high-priced unit, at all. So, it would be spectacular if some sort of noise cancellation was used. The microphone, audio quality and noise cancellation from the spoken voice viewpoint seem very good. All of the contacts on the other end of the conversation could not hear any noise at all, including vehicle noise, even with the window open. The useful range is fantastic. I could literally continue a call over 100 feet from the vehicle, though at a distance the orientation of my head made a difference, indicating that the antenna inside of the unit is somewhat directional. The received audio was also of good quality. But the volume could not be increased to adequate levels to allow me to hear all callers, especially if there was significant ambient noise. I compared the call volume with several other headsets I own, as well as other phones and proved that the maximum volume is inadequate for me. I could not find a work around for this. This is a well-constructed headset. It has fantastic range and a reasonably long battery life. The microphone also has very good noise rejection, making it good for use in noisy environments from a speaking perspective. The price is also very good. Since the over the ear design is hotter than an on the ear design, there needs to be a tradeoff situation to make that design desirable. I did not find the noise muting to be significant, which is not what I expected. As I discussed above, the maximum sound volume was also too low for me while driving, for example, for some callers. Whether or not this will bother you or not depends on where you will use the item, the native volume of your caller's audio and your ability to pull intelligible speech out of the background. If the manufacturer will turn up the max volume a little, I will easily be worthy of five solid stars.

Works well
Works well. Stays connected walking to the back of my truck. I can talk 16+hrs with no problems or low battery. Very comfortable large ear cuff. Covers your entire ear like an over ear headphones cuff does. Doesn't go on your ear like most do and squish your ear against your head. Please don't ever change your design! (7/27/24) A little bit on the expensive side but definitely worth the money. Lightweight. Sound quality is good.

Great value for the price
I just got this headset yesterday and per my usual pattern, I fired it up to use right away to get it to drain down to whatever low battery warning occurs before I charge it. If this first charge is any indication of how long this headset can go on one charge im VERY pleased. I used them maybe 5 hours off and on then today at least 16 hours and I haven't heard a low battery indication yet. The call clarity is outstanding for a headset in this price range. No one has been able to hear any background noise around me and no complaints about my volume. The input volume from videos or calls is crystal clear. I've had to turn them down several times to reduce the shock of sharp loud noises. Be careful over 75% volume. The ear padding is more than substantial to make it through a full day without soreness or excessive sweat. The mic sits pretty far outside what you think is close enough to your mouth so you may need to speak slightly louder than normal but it's not so much that you would have to consciously do it. If you have a low voice like mine it may be something to be aware of. Overall I'm very happy with these. I will be careful with them so I don't damage them so they last longer than my last ones.

Swivel broke
I’ve enjoyed this headset for the 10 months I used it except for the swivel design on the earpiece. Great battery life and sound quality. Then one day the earpiece broke right at the swivel. It’s definitely a weak spot!

Horrible ‘tinny’ audio that distorts when people speak above a whisper on calls, even at very low volume.

I was looking for a headset that had a larger earpiece and these do. They are quite comfortable for my head. From a sound perspective, it is quite clear though not as clear as some other headsets I own but more than good enough for meetings. Voice quality on the mike part appears to be good (no complaints one way or another on Teams). One thing that I've found though and this appears to very Teams related is that depending on which version of Teams you use, the mike will suddenly drop off. For work, I was using the Desktop version of Teams (Azure Virtual Desktop) and I got the drop off consistently with the mike. This happened when I didn't have a meeting for a bit. I would restart the headset and sometimes it the mike would work but then it wouldn't. IT finally got me the web version of Teams and it seems to have stabilized but time will tell. I feel this is no reflection on the headset though, as I can't get it fail for other meetings. I can have the mike not work for my remote work, but when I log off work and use it with my personal Teams or Zoom, it works just fine. I actually got a separate Bluetooth transmitter to see if that would work as well (protocol is Bluetooth 5.1 over 5.0) and it still didn't help.

My dislikes. Ear peace is little big. For my liking. Adjustable size would be good. #2 Doesn't go loud for myself. It would be hard to hear if your rig was loud.(Likes.). Clear sound. No background noise. On and off min. Swivel ear and mic.
