FDK Replacement Battery Compatible with Braun Oral-b Triumph Professional Care (Type 3731 or 3745) Toothbrush (42mm Long, 17mm Diameter, 2150mAh)

Bought this to replace an old battery in a Braun electric toothbrush that wouldn't hold a charge. The procedure is a bit of work and tests your patience, but it can completely renew an old electric toothbrush if you have the time, skill, patience and desire to not throw more money at Braun. Good capacity. Certainly much improved over the many years old battery it was replacing. Lasts over a week now (twice usage per day).

I’ve replaced the battery in my old toothbrush several times. This is the first time I’ve bought a battery with the correct tabs for the application. This made the installation much easier. The previous batteries were the same manufacturer, so I expect this will last several years like the previous units. The few extra dollars over the other batteries with “generic” tabs was well worth it.

Not an easy replacement, but worth the hassle. My toothbrush basically had to live on the charger otherwise it would die during the second use. Got this bad boy installed, and charges are lasting about 10 days, and working better than ever. Keep in mind, taking apart your toothbrush will take some specialized tools and soldering skills. Be prepared, but for <$10 and a little time, you can save yourself from buying a new expensive toothbrush, which will also probably have a non-replaceable battery :)

All others have given this 5stars so theirs must have been better. Mine had the tabs attached in such a manner that I had a very difficult time installing the battery. I had to do some twisting to get them going the same direction. Quality control seems to be a problem. Addendum - changed rating from 4 to 1 star because the battery failed after just 3 charges.

It's really heavy and that tells me something, either it has what it needs or they meticulously packed it with very small rocks to appear heavy. Have not had time to put in toothbrush just yet but am overwhelmed with weight. Just great!!!

Battery didn't charge properly and after several discharge/recharge cycles it will not even last one 2 min brushing. Put the older battery it was replacing back in and it would at least last 3 brush cycles before stopping.

A little hard to replace but work perfect!

My electric toothbrush works like a dream!
