D722U Noise Reducing USB Wired Headset | Compatible with Computer Softphone Apps Like RingCentral, Teams, Zoom, Google, GoTo, Cisco and More

I'm very happy with this headset for the price. I sometimes have work calls with a very noisy background and this headset gives enough side tone for me to focus on the discussion and those on the other end can't hear the chaos in the background (I do also run the Teams background noise software). I tried other more expensive headsets and the more active noise cancelling only removed lower frequency noise and didn't cut voices anymore than the discovery headset. Having a conversation with hardcore noise cancelling also feels weird to me, but I didn't spend much time using those before returning. Overall this headset does exactly what I wanted it to do, which is isolate me in a noisy environment enough to hold important conversations. I love the over-ear design for comfort, and I appreciate the wired design. I do not like dealing with charging or connecting via Bluetooth (that's my experience in my laptop dropping BT connections), this reliably going to work. The only thing I don't like is where the manual control remote on the cable is located. I feel like it's awkwardly placed close enough to the headset that it doesn't always sit on the desk but far enough away to secure it to my shirt.... Ii often find myself fidgeting with it. It's not the MOST comfortable or BEST audio (for music) you can find, but it's hard to find the right combination for remote work, and this certainly is a fantastic balance for under $100. In my opinion you can't choose a work headset without considering these.

Awesome for Teams calls in a shared work space. Doesn’t pickup the background noise and being able to hear yourself talk through the headset means I’m not shouting and pissing off my coworkers. Highly recommend for a work environment.

Ich hatte mir das Gerät wegen der Sidetalk-Funktionalität gekauft. Die ist zwar vorhanden, aber die Sidetalk-Lautstärke ist nicht regelbar und sehr leise und der Effekt damit nicht wie erhofft. Das Ein- und Ausschalten des Sidetalks ist auch nicht gut gemacht. Deswegen zurück

I bought the Discover D722U Headset a few years ago. It still works as expected with two problems: 1. The plastic frame broke. OK, I fixed it. 2. Two days ago the ear pad opened up and the sticky liquefied glue-like plastic start leaking from it into my ear. It was very dangers moment as it could damage my hearing. What is your suggestion? Should I expect that it will never happen again if I buy a new set? Should I alarm the Ministry of Health to remove this product from the market? I don't want any body to be hurt. What is your suggestions?

Absolutely love this headset. When I first looked at it I was interested because it has SIDETONE. Sidetone lets you hear your own voice when on the phone or in a Teams/Zoom meeting while wearing a headset, but you can not adjust it because it is a built in feature that can be turned on and off but not controllable by downloading software. I thought that might notwork as I would like to adjust the volume of sidetone but took a chance anyway and I was pleasantly surprised. The sidetone volume is perfect and the comfort of the headset and overall sound is fantastic. If you work from home---GET IT!
