Wouldnt bother, garbage!! Its going back
The honest review about this product. Magnet strong ok, Very Poor quality base isn't ground flat and lots of sharp burrs. Mm Dial hand is no where near 0 and goes round to 13.2mm when it says on the dial max limit is 10mm. Definately made cheap! Dial indicator feels very flimsy and poor quality! Its accuracy is to be bought in to question. Ball bearing in end of probe is as loose as a wizards sleive! Think ill be asking for my money back and buy something worth owning. I shall let you know how it fares up on a basic job. If your wanting cheap and to check the run out on a telegraph pole it would be great but anything more accurate buy something with some quality to it. Arms all scratched and dented straight out the box

Not bad
This is the first time I have handled one of these, It seems ok but not that robust. No info in the box but lots of info on the net

Indicator has a flimsy bracket
First time using it to measure wheel runout, I accidentally knocked it and the dial indicator body popped out of the mount. The back plastic bracket is held in with the tiniest and most useless screws into the aluminium. I superglued the bracket back on, let's see how long it lasts.

Lightweight and cheap but you get what you pay for
I needed a gauge in a hurry, this one arrived. In hindsight i should have bought better quality and put up with longer delivery. This does work over most of its range so for the price it is ok.

Decent budget piece of equipment
Sturdy piece of equipment. Dial gauge is ok, just set it up properly and it works fine.
