Great quality
I got these for two purposes: the hang the dog leashes and to hang my jewelry chains. They are of excellent quality. They are busy doing their jobs in my home.

Franklin brass is very sturdy hardware
I first bought these 5 years ago when we moved into a new house. I have liked these so much that I have put up 8 more in a storage closet. I hang every thing off of them and they are so well made that I probably overload them! Don't get a cheap hook- you will regret it. I'd guess you'd use them outside but I don't know what the weather would do? Just research that if you want them for outside.

I am more than happy with these Franklin Brass coat hooks! They look great, especially compared to the decades old ones they replace. I got the 5 pack. Each hook is individually packaged and the Philips head screws are long enough to reach studs through drywall easily. The screw heads have a matching nickel finish to the hooks. One of the reason I got these vs some others is I was hoping they holes would match-up with were the only ones were mounted. For once luck was on my side and they do match exactly making installation quick and easy. The only down-side for me is they look so nice I'm almost motivated to paint my entry way... almost! They look and work great, saved me time and work and are very affordable. I'm very pleased and that definitely 5 stars in my book.

Perfect for a wood slab made in a towel rack
We were having trouble with hooks getting pulled out of the wall all the time, so we painted a piece of wood about 3ft wide by 5 ft long and put 5 of these on it. Then we drilled the wood into the wall and its holding up beautifully.
