Compact roller set
The product does heat very quickly and held the heat for a significant amount of time. I found they were too hot to handle even though they state an edge on the roller to protect your fingers while handling. The edge was still too hot. I use them often I just need to let them cool a little bit. I was pleasantly surprised that they are very light weight and compact.

Love these hot rollers!
These are the best hot rollers on the market. They have two heat settings and come with 8 flocked velvet rollers in 2 sizes. I bought four more curlers because 8 wasn’t enough for my hair. The clips are great and sturdy and do not leave the crimp other curlers and clips leave. I roll my hair and do my makeup while they are cooling- take them out 20 minutes later, spray and I have bouncy hair for the day! I have shoulder length hair and I love these. They are a bit pricier, but the price has gone down and they are worth it. I’ve tried the other brands- these are the best!

Broken roller -less than 1 month - light use - cheaply made
UPDATE 1-10-26 Less than 1 YEAR and the unit no longer heats up. I only use them once or twice a week --so not over used by any stretch-- I'm the ONLY one using them. Very expensive - save your $$ buy CONAIR or other. Extremely disappointed in this electric hair roller set. I've always purchased CONAIR electric rollers, but thought this smaller 'template' might be nice for 'downsizing' the hair appliances. Almost 3x the price of CONAIR and honestly not much difference other than I liked the smaller, less bulky set-- would travel nicely. **HOWEVER** less than ONE month of use -- one of the 4 larger rollers broke-- fell apart! Not ONE of my CONAIR rollers over the last 20 years (and I've owned several sets), ever had a hair roller break/crack. I am going to attempt to reach out to the company and hope they have a reliable, conscientious customer service department (for what they charge for this unit, I certainly would excpect it). I will UPDATE my review based on my interaction (how it goes) with the company. I'm a senior living on a fixed income and this is simply unacceptable. *****JUNE 2025 UPDATE--- Contacted company via email. Almost immediate response (within a couple hours). They replaced the broken roller. Company Customer Service -- Excellent. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I still feel this unit is well overpriced. I have a Conair older -used frequently-- never had any issues with hair rollers breaking apart.

NICE
Very nice hot rollers. They get very hot as opposed to others. I had trouble with the clips, the curlers kept falling out. If you have very thick hair like I do, don’t expect to get all your hair done all at one time.

Amazing curl with low-effort!
Take about 5-10 minutes to heat up, I usually let them sit for at least 30 minutes and make sure to twist the rollers while I take them out to make a great, low-effort blowout! Very easy to use and they don’t hurt your fingers because of the special coating on the rim. Only downside is that the clips don’t hold the rollers in the hair very well, so sometimes my curls get dented or have inconsistent results. I use a heat protectant/hair oil before putting in the rollers, and my hair stays healthy!

Favorite Hot Rollers
Have used T3 hot rollers for approximately 8 years now & find them to be an overall excellent product with good results. They are more pricey than many other hot roller choices on the market & you might need to purchase extra rollers to get the size that works for you, but, for me it was worth doing this. My original T3 hot rollers automatically came with 2 extra large, 2 large & 4 standard size rollers but I think the options may have changed resulting in the need to purchase additional sizes to tailor the rollers to your specific needs. These rollers come with clamps that secure the rollers in place very well (unlike some brands that only come with a thin, curved piece of metal to hold the rollers).

Not good for short layered hair
My hair is a couple inches past my chin. After having a great "beachy" blowout, I've been on a quest to learn to do it myself. After trying several curling and flatirons that didn't work, I decided to try these hot rollers. First impression, these are very stylish looking and they cost 2x more than the old style hot rollers from the 80's (Conair, Remington, etc) but they work the exact same way. For shorter hair girls, I found the big rollers to be too big to wrap my hair around. So I just used the smaller ones. Had those worked, I would have purchased more of the smaller versions (It would be helpful if you could configure the set to your own needs and not buy rollers you're not going to use). Anyway, it is true that the rollers get really hot and you have to be careful how you handle them. I did not like the clips. They left marks on my hair and it was hard to get them to stay in place. But the main reason I returned them is that my hair did not hold the curl at all. These are probably fine for longer hair, but they did not work for me.

Is this worth the high price?
From the least expensive to this pricey set, I've bought just about every hot roller there is on my quest for the perfect curls. I need about 6-8 rollers and don't like that most kits come with 12 rollers in sets that are too big. This set is more compact so I took a chance and was hoping this would be the Cadillac of Curlers, but sadly, I'm disappointed. First the good...the two sized rollers are what I was wanting, it has two heat settings, and everything fits neatly in a type of travel tote that comes with the set. It's also really pretty if that matters. Not the tacky pink rollers that seem to be the norm. The rollers are soft and don't seem to damage my hair and the resulting curls are nice, but are they worth the higher price? Now the bad...the rollers get really hot and almost impossible to place without feeling like you're burning your fingers and then your scalp. They're heavy too and drag down on the hair. The clips to keep the roller in place are also not the easiest to get on the rollers and many times, I have to re-do the roller placement. I would say the resulting curls are comparable to any other roller set I've tried, so sadly, no...I don't think this set is worth the extra price. Save your money, hope this helps!
