Brilliant solution
Our fabric conditioner compartment in our washing machine no longer drains correctly and only fills with water so the fabric conditioner wasn't getting to our clothes. Although the description says for a top loader only we have a standard front loading machine and never experienced any problems with the unit. It works as described and like that it comes as a 2 pack. Love having our washing smelling summer fresh again.

Does the job
I really am happy with my purchase. I have a front loading washing machine and the fabric softener draw has stopped working, just fills with water. I bought this so I'd have nice smelling washing again and it has done it's job. Works well. Sometimes there is a little conditioner left in the bottom of the ball but I just add water, more conditioner and use it for the next wash. Simple and easy to use. Plus u get a pack of 2!

Amazing
I've been wanting these for ages I'm not in America and don't have a top loader (wish I did ) so used this for my front loader and they are amazing definitely recommended for UK front loaders

Never thought I’d review a softener ball but I have a front loading machine and wanted To say it can be used for that as well as top loading as what it’s marketed too I took my machine drawer out to shake clumped detergent into my bin and neber Realised until the bin was away with the bin men that a part of the softener drawer fell off and was Binned so the softener was just washed away with detergent at the wrong part of the cycle Tbh I actually think using this gives the clothes a stronger scent and softer Feel so I’m not mad that I broke my drawer now or I wouldn’t have discovered this

Really not sure
These arrive as a pair. One doesn’t work at all, as if you pull the plug up to seal it the lever just pulls straight out. I am not convinced that the softener is released at the rinse cycle. However much softener I put in I can’t smell it after the wash and clothes don’t feel particularly soft. Am ditching them and won’t have to listen to the annoying clunking.
