Twinings of London Blackcurrant Tea Bags, 20 Count

I loved this tea growing up. I still love tea, but haven't see it in stores or thought about it for years. I randomly remembered awhile back that it used to exist and was surprised to find it is still sold. Happily bought some, but was prepared for it to not match my memory in taste. It tastes the same! Yummy black tea with a strong berry vibe, can't quite describe it, but if this sounds like something you'd like, do try it! Delicious and unique!

Yes, I enjoy it. A freak for all things black currant. It's subtle in aroma and flavor. I take mine hot or room temp., black, no sugar. I found it too subtle for iced tea. And the bags are individually wrapped...if I'm to be forced by circumstance to resort to tea bags (I'm a brew a whole pot kind of girl and much prefer loose tea) I want those bags individually wrapped! I'd most definitely but again, black current seems to be hard to find. I can't remember, but it seems like the price was right. I'm always looking for a bargain, and since I use four bags at a time, they couldn't have been terribly expensive.

I have never had a better cup of tea, hot or cold. Black Currant by Twinings has become my all time favorite. I shared a cup with a friend. I know she's been to Amazon to buy some. The rich fruity flavor and the incredible blank currant aroma are captivating. I can't drink tea without sweetener and it just makes this tea sooooooooooo much better, and it was divine to start with. Buy much. You will run out fast.

I Love this tea -- it's the best blackcurrant flavor (most natural) that I have tried. My local grocer used to carry it but they gave way to a big chain and now I can't find it. Was so happy to find it on Amazon. It's great hot (and spiked for a winter treat!) or chilled, which I drink all summer.

Stronger and more sour than it used to be? I used to drink this kind of tea all the time at a certain restaurant I liked, and this tea just seems more sour, more fruity, more strong. Usually I like strong fruity flavors, but it's over the top even for me, making it hard to taste the black tea in it. I think a blackcurrant lover will really love this tea, though, especially if they have a taste for sour flavors. I'm happy to have tried it, but probably won't refill after finishing this box.

Absolutely love blackcurrant tea. You will not be disappointed! Contains six, 20-count bags per box. I make a gallon of tea with: 4 or 5 family size decaf tea bags + 8-10 bags of blackcurrant. SERVE over ice w/ fresh mint!

I bought this for the price (5 stars) but the flavor (3 starts) needs more blackcurrant. Maybe I'm just comparing it to this polish version that was excellent, but I expected more from Twinings. Not bad as black tea variant. If you want the real blackcurrant taste, though, would look elsewhere.

This is the most wonderful tea I have ever purchased. Awesome flavor! It makes a wicked great sun tea as well as hot tea, I can never find this flavor at my local grocery stores so thank goodness I can always find it on Amazon.
