This elegantly solved the problem of opening our gate on the opposite side of the latch. Easy to install, and makes our gate easy to open and close. Nice, inexpensive solution.

Now the little kiddos can’t escape when we’re playing outside when trying to follow someone behind and it’s super quick and easy to remove the latch to walk in and out for the adults

It didn't hold the gate together. It broke by a small child. It's not worth buying or the price of it.

The wire clamped in and it can easily pull out from the clamp. I had it on two gates and it broke the same way.

This isn’t to bad. I love how easy it makes it to open and close up my gate. The bad thing is that after a week the wire broke on the first one. I would recommend you use pliers to squeeze between the wire and where it hold its before using it. Other than that, it works just great

New gate after 20 years, but then the new concrete caused problems. They didn't level my gate & I couldn't get it open. Had to re install the latch & replaced the twine. This works so much better than the twine they left me with!

thought this was a suitable gate latch cable and just what i needed (perhaps a little short), but despite only light use for the occasional delivery i just discovered that the little clip had pulled apart and disconnected from the gate, and then when i went to reattach it the clip simply snapped off the cable. unfortunately the clip itself and its connection to the cable are too weak, otherwise i'd be happy with this product.

exactly what I was looking for and even though I measured the length, it would be 100% perfect instead of 90% perfect except that it was about 5 inches shorter than I wanted. I had to extend it with picture wire which isn't what I wanted to do, but oh well. Measure more carefully than I did.

String is too short

This gate latch cable is garbage. Broke a week after installing it.
