Bought this for my shop when we started doing smog checks. Works perfectly, good quality product, never had an issue in the three years we have had it and done thousands of smogs.

This scanner is awesome! It has a lot of features not usually found at this price point, including the ability to publish scan data to an MQTT server, for use by a stock management application. I'm using it with a software package I built that allows me to manage the stock in my kitchen/pantry. It has a lot of options for how you can connect it, I'm using it connected to my home wifi network. So it works anywhere around my home, no need to have a particular PC or mobile device running or in wireless range. It scans very quickly, and does an excellent job on both printed and digital code codes. I'm using it primarily with UPC/EAN and QR codes, but I've tested it out with others as well and it performed excellently. Build quality is great, and it feels very sleek and comfortable in your hand. The charging station is just as well-built, and the scanner fits snugly in it. It has a status light that tells you whether it's on or off, what type of connection it's using, and whether it's currently connected. If not connected, it stores the scanned code and sends them when it does connect. My only real complaint is that the default volume is LOUD, and the first thing I had to look for in the manual was the way to turn it down 😂 thankfully that was readily doable, and the "low volume" setting is much easier on my ears. Overall - love this thing, and I fully intend to buy more of them!
