The patterns are very cute and with over 50 of them, there's something for everyone. I plane each piece of wood to the desired thickness, apply painter's tape to one side, photocopy the desired pattern onto regular paper and affix the pattern copy to the taped side of the wood using 3M "Super 77" spray glue (CAUTION: See product label for ventilation requirements). This holds the pattern in place for sawing and is easily removed before sanding without damaging the wood. I have never understood what the "20-minute" part of the title is meant to reflect. I'm an experienced woodworker and spend about 6 hour building each puzzle, at least half of that on sanding.

Very interesting book, great detail

This arrived swiftly and in great condition. Unfortunately, we had to return the item because my daughter was no longer interested in woodworking.

I bought my son and grandson a scroll saw for Christmas this year, and when I found this and one other book by the same author online, I bought them. I paged through this one, and it should be a good place to start for them.

Good selection of puzzles to make for the young grandchildren. The puzzle templates are easily copied for use. And the different levels of puzzle complexity in regard to the necessary scroll saw cuts makes it easy to get started making puzzles.

The designs in this book are wonderful. Children really enjoy the puzzles.

Good directions. Well written, even though a book like this doesn't need lots of writing. Good plans and suggestions for variations. Encourages creativity!

Wonderful designs of many creatures loved and collected by many. Patterns are easy but filled with detail. Looking forward to making as many of these as possible
