easy Turkish Grammar with answers: an innovative way of teaching Turkish (KAMAN Turkish Series)

This is an excellent grammar for Turkish. The color coding and notes on each page make this a must-have for anyone study Turkish.

I love the organization of this book, and the clarity with which it is written. I knew it was going to be good, when I opened the book, and read, "How Turkish works". How great is that? This is what we ALL want to know. We, learners of Turkish, need clear and concise grammar rules until we "get it". That's exactly what Halit Demir has done for us, leading us through learning the language very systematically and methodically. Beautifully written, with clear and precise language. I vowed that I would finish the other language books that I have, before reading this. But this book can also be used as a reference, especially when you are "stuck". So far, I am so happy I bought this book, and so I even bought one as a gift for my Turkish teacher in Istanbul. I will update my review as I proceed. I have to tell you, that Halit is such a gentleman. If you have any questions, he will be happy to help you. I speak elementary level Turkish and have found this book to be the perfect partner as it starts with basics and uses pictures to support visual learners. This is a great purchase if you’re new to or working on strengthening your Turkish skills.

Clearly written and beautifully explained, this book is a remarkably effective tool for even the newest newbie to Turkish.

Great book for learners. Good to get your head around the grammar structure.

This is a great grammar book for learning Turkish because most of the example sentences have the grammar color coded. This makes it quite easy to see how these parts of speech are used in context. Also there is a vowel harmony chart on the top of each page for reference when working the exercises. Bu harika! Another really neat thing I found was on the last page of the book it shows the printed date as the of my Amazon order. High quality Print-on-Demand printing, how cool is that!

I dislike this book and find it difficult to follow. Is it Turkish grammar? Absolutely. Is it easy? Not in the slightest for me. I’ve been using the Duolingo app for a long time to learn Turkish. The problem with Duolingo Turkish is they don’t explain grammar, you’re just supposed to figure it out on your own. I have tried so hard to understand what is being said in this book. I think the author wrote on an advanced level. It talks about one fold, two fold, and four fold vowels, front vowels, back vowels…is it necessary that I understand the language at this depth? I’m not trying to become a professor of it. I watched an eight minute YouTube video on Turkish grammar that made more sense and was very easy to understand. Maybe instead of easy Turkish grammar I should’ve purchased a book called simple Turkish grammar. I did learn some things so I gave it two stars.

It is first thing worth spending time to give the opinion. The book is great for sb who wants to learn Turkish grammar step by step. I call it Turkish version of the very famous English grammar book by Murphy. It is similar style and really easy to learn. It is worth the price, which is not really low, but worth each euro :-)

Excellent book to learn suffixes with exercises to test your knowledge

I have been doing a free online Turkish study course, without all the study notes and exercises available when you pay a monthly fee so I have found this book of great help. The most positive aspect of the book is that it deals with grammar in a much more logical order than other grammar books I have bought. It is well explained, and the colour code is extremely useful for understanding all those so confusing suffixes! However, in my opinion it could be a little challenging for complete beginners due to the vocabulary and verb tenses used in the early lessons. I would say it is a very useful complementary tool to explain and practice grammar once a certain level has been reached. There is no glossary at the end of the book, which would have been a great help, but this is offset by all the book’s positive aspects. All in all , I would thoroughly recommend it .

Lo compré en Kindle y me ha ayudado mucho con la gramática. Ojalá hubiese una especie de "Workbook" con más ejercicios de gramática para practicar.
