Skateez Skate Trainers - Grey, for Skaters up to 180 lb

I won a skating w/ MN Wild players but I do not know how to skate , in order for my son to skate with the players I had to be in the ice. I practiced but fell multiple times and I was happy to find this product, I never fell while using this. The only problem is the tape, I used different double sided tape. Mr. Fleury noticed my skate and asked me about the product, I told him I do not how to skate, he told me it's all good and he likes it. I do not know if I will know how to skate without the skate trainer but the feeling that I was able to skate by myself without falling was awesome.

Just like a lot of reviews say,… this is not meant to last long, but it IS a big help to get started. I couldn’t have learned to ice skated without these! A little tricky to install on skates, need some patience. I felt nervous and uneasy on ice, BUT I COULD STAND AND SORT OF SKATE! My first time around small pond was slow and cautious, but each time around got easier. After about 25 times around, I felt comfortable enough to remove the trainers. When sat down to remove, I noticed one of the trainers was already coming off,…the rubber pad came unstuck from skate. Didn’t really matter, because by then I didn’t need trainers. I wasn’t good, but could get around pond by myself, without holding anything! When I came inside, and skates warmed, and dried,…I could again stick the rubber pad, so Skate trainers be ready for the next freeze. I highly recommend, and probably will buy again for my son to learn skating.

This works as advertised. Easy to install, and they helped my kids gain confidence while learning to skate. Way better and more convenient than cheese cutters or chair/skating aid.

What a great product. Sturdy and well made. Easy to assemble. They really gave me confidence on the ice since I have not skated for years! And I didn't fall once!

Great Product!- Allows brand new skaters to gain confidence and get comfortable on the ice quickly- You have to be comfortable knowing that these won’t be used much - essentially by using this my husband got comfortable quick on the ice and was okay removing them. For me that was worth the $26 vs. having him not want to skate- Was worried it would break under the weight and wobbling but hasn’t so far (used it 2 times for hour each)- Fairly easy to use - each skateez will have two pieces and it takes a bit of effort to separate them (have to fiddle with it) but once you get hang, it’s good- It stays on the skate well with the strap and insert so no issues while skating- Came on time and in good packaging
