I’ve been using these Gaiam wrist weights for a few weeks now and overall, I’m really happy with them. I mainly wear them during walks and they add just enough resistance to feel like I’m getting a little extra out of my routine. I also love how they look. They are sleek and minimal, almost like a chunky bracelet, so I don’t feel silly wearing them out in public. They’re super comfortable and don’t slip around much, which was a pleasant surprise. The adjustable strap makes them easy to fit, and the quality feels solid for the price. That said, they’re definitely not meant for intense workouts, so if you’re looking to build serious strength, these probably aren’t heavy enough. Also, they can feel a bit snug after extended wear, especially if you have larger wrists or ankles. Overall, great for boosting daily movement and toning a little more without making a big production out of it. Would definitely recommend for anyone easing into fitness or looking to add some resistance to everyday activity.

Good quality and comfortable, not too bulky to wear for leg lifts or walking. Easy to apply. Color was as expected. Were a tight fit so may not be good if you have very large ankles.

Love them and they work great. They are effective & easy to put on and take off. I love how I can adjust the weight when this gets to be not enough. They have added to my work outs. I walk and try to get my 10 k steps in for the last year. I have lost 40 lbs doing that in 6 months but then my weight loss stopped and I wasn't gaining any more muscle. 2 months ago, I added the light weight and OMGOODNESS, my legs are sore and I am dropping weight. Not much like I was but still I can see it coming off. Mostly I am building muscle in my calfs and thighs. I also so inches off my hips and apron belly.

These ankle weights are good quality and helpful for working out. The problem for me is that there is only one Velcro strip so they can’t be adjusted for ankle size. On my ankles they are to big and slide around. Because of the way the Velcro is situated I am not able to tighten them up.

I’ve bought these about 3 times. After 6-9 months the velco wears out and they don’t stay on. For reference: 5’8” female 140 lbs with medium ankles. I use them several times a week for home exercises (squats, lunges, leg lifts) but nothing vigorous or constant like walking or jumping. Despite the lousy velcro, I keep buying them because when the velco works they are comfortable. The other options for 5lb ankle weights are solid weights in bags ( which dig into my ankles and ankle weight with sand for the weight and the sand will eventually leak and get on floor / carpet. This would be the perfect ankle weights if they did away with the weak velco and had a buckle or different fastener but I guess they are getting more money out of me if they keep breaking and I keep buying. I don’t see how these would hold up for walking even when they are new. I did try the amazon brand ankle weights and they were uncomfortable in the 5 lb. Also these do not leak sand at all.

Made very well. Hard to find ankle weights that are 5 lbs each (10 lbs for 2) in the stores. Happy with the item, but I would suggest that Amazon secure and tape the ankle weight mfr box and use bubble wrap in the shipping box. The weights are heavy and both were outside of original mfr box flying around and I had 2 other items in the same shipping box. It only had a piece of brown paper that was useless in making sure items didn't shift.
