LEGO City Police High-Speed Chase 60138 Building Toy with Cop Car, Police Helicopter, and Getaway Sports Car (294 Pieces)

The 4-year-old loves everything with wheels and wings. He has been watching his older brother do the kits for years. I got him Duplo's, but he wanted to be like his brother. We got it and took him through page-by-page. He loves to take parts apart and put them back together. Some times we end up having to go back to the manual and tear apart so we can find out what he had done. He had gotten many hours of joyful play out of this kit. A good first kit for someone who had worked with duplos and loves wheels and wings. Unlike his brother who puts them together and displays them, this one plays and plays with them.

I wasn't sure what to expect with used legos, whether the package would be opened and resealed, whether there would be missing lego pieces, or absence of instruction manual. However I was pleasantly surprised to note that the only part that appeared damaged was the lego package with contents inside untouched/sealed. It was brand new, and my son was very excited as he didn't care about the damaged box :). Not a good idea to gift but super value for money (saved approx $25) if you want it for your family. Thumbs up!!

My 5 year old son started playing with LEGOs about 5 months ago and he LOVES this set. We bought him several sets with Police items and this police car, helicopter and fast car fit right in with the others. This set was a HUGE success with my son and husband, they have spent many hours putting together and playing with this set. The are A LOT of small pieces so might be cautious about ages and usage, my son is 5 but is very good about not sticking small pieces in his mouth and playing carefully. My 5 year old is currently obsessed with lego police "stuff", particularly helicopters (he's autistic, so his obsessions are very specific haha). I bought him this set as an incentive to help with potty training (#2 is proving to be difficult to master) and he earned it over the weekend. He LOVES it!! We had fun assembling it together and he has been playing with it non-stop since! I really loved legos as a kid so this is a fun thing for us to share. Also, lego sets are generally pretty expensive. This wasn't priced too badly on Amazon for what you get! The only complaints I have are that I never remember having to put so many stickers on lego sets. I mean, the results look really cool, but it's a lot of extra work to add all the stickers! I wish they were just printed on the bricks themselves. Assembling the pully hook for the helicopter was also time consuming but the end results is also very cool, and the set came with a small handful of extra pieces which is always nice. The helicopter blades could be attached more securely in my opinion. They come off pretty easily if bumped and that can get frustrating, but overall, my boy is absolutely thrilled! I can definitely recommend this set (which I paid full price for). Hope this helps!

This was our entry point into LEGO City. My son is now playing the game, and loves the set and the game both. A lot of the sets we buy get converted into fun monsters or additions to other things, but he hasn't touched the police car or helicopter (other than to add some rockets or lasers, etc). We bring them downstairs for screen time when we want to play the associated game, too. My son's 5 and loves creative play, and this has been a favorite outlet for him during our time stuck in the house this summer.

This a fantastic toy! My 3 year old loves it. It has also held together well with his use, which is not true for all Lego sets. If your child loves police stuff they will love this set. The grappling hook on the helicopter is a blast to carry things or guys around with. My boy was using it the other day to lift his train track up. This set provides a lot of opportunities to use your imagination and foster fun different play.

this was purchused ad a gift for my 8 year old son. He loves it. it was easy to put together and has everything in it that he loves. action, mobility, figures, vehicles are a must. it goes with any set or on its own. Lego city is great. we haven't been disappointed.

Fantastic toy. Kudos to Lego. We have the Lego City Police copter, the cars and the mini figures and about 100 other Lego mini figures in the front window of our store. It is a tribute to Hollywood and the upcoming Oscars. We also have a big screen TV in our front window playing our own Lego movie entitled "Lego Photo Shopping" in a loop all day long. It took us three months to film "Lego Photo Shopping" and the soundtrack is by Mozart. Lego is a great toy for children and apparently also for adults.

Lego is my son's favorite toy since he was little. He ordered this for the kids at PLASP where he volunteers. All the kids just loved it when they got it. The quality is good as all other Lego products. The design is like a real helicopter. It's just perfect. I believe all kids would like it.
