Problem: “Adapter is NOT recommended for this car”

There is no issue with the adapter, message can be safely ignored. Our adapter will work as it was designed to do. Please refer to the FAQ in OHP Tools website for troubleshooting guidance or send us a message.

Problem: Does not connect automatically or computer doesn't recognize the USB device?

You may need to manually install the FTDI driver or reassign the cable to a lower COM port (COM2–COM4) in Device Manager.

Problem: If the adapter is not detected by FORScan on your Windows 10/11 system?

1. Right-click FORScan icon → Properties → Compatibility → set to Windows 7→ Save 2. Right-click FORScan icon → Run as Administrator 3. Plug the cable → Ignition ON → Test the connection.
