Instant Pot Ceramic Inner Slow Cooking Pot 6-Qt, Non-Stick Coated Interior, Rice Cooker

New review after buying the 6 quart inner pot: We also have a 6 quart Cosori Electric Pressure Cooker. I took a chance that this might fit even though it apparently doesn't work in all other EPCs... but it fits, PERFECTLY! So now we have all the benefits of the liner for the 8 quart machine, but for our smaller Cosori cooker. I use it mainly with slow-cooker function. These are SO nice for making bone broth, which can form a ring... but with this any ring that forms cleans out really easily with NO scrubbing. Same with making chili! This liner is also great for slow cooked overnight oatmeal! I still don't use it to sauté anything... for that I use the heavier bottomed stainless inner pot that came with the machine. For pressure cooking there's generally enough steam that the stainless inner pots stay pretty clean. I do my rice as pot-in-pot in a round pyrex dish (equal parts rice and water)... usually the 7 cup one. When we've taken what we need for dinner... the plastic storage lid goes on, and into the fridge... no mess at all -- and the rice is perfect every time! But for those long slow cooks that can leave a stainless pot a bit harder to clean up... the ceramic liner is perfection! Both of these liners were the less expensive items that had been returned to Amazon. In both cases I chose ones which indicated no damage, and in both cases I received pots in perfect condition with the original packing materials (the inner styrofoam to protect the pot's rim) intact. Original review of 8 quart pot: We needed a second inner pot and had planned on buying another stainless pot, but found this one on a good sale because of being returned, so decided to give it a try... and we could not be happier! The ceramic interior is VERY easy to clean. I have noted the photos by people where the ceramic has started to break down on the bottom of the pot... this inner pot does not have the thick bottom disk that is a part of the stainless inner pot. I am also a bit surprised that the outside of this inner pot is also covered with ceramic. It would seem it might hold up a bit better if the outside had been plain metal, with the ceramic only on the inside of the pot. So... I will probably NOT be using this with the sauté function... but for cooking down chicken bones for soup, using with the slow-cooker function, etc --- and with that I am hopeful it will last a long time, as it's just a wonderful addition for our IP!

This is an aluminum pot with great heat distribution with a ceramic non-stick coating on the inside and outside so that no bare aluminum is showing except a thin ribbon at the top edge where it is milled. This coating is completely unrelated to Teflon Brand and all its fluoro chloro chemical relatives. This pot allows me to saute, brown and seer things I can hold in waiting to add in after the other ingredients are done pressure cooking. This pot is great for par-steaming and then crisping and browning pot stickers and gyoza without sticking. This is by far easier to clean than the stainless steel insert that came with my Instant-pot, which I have to use Bon Ami on to get the unsightly protein residue off. This just wipes clean with a drop of Dawn dish detergent and a soft wet dish rag. I have NOT yet used this pot under pressure because that is not how I envisioned using it. For batch cooking it's just the best. At $16.99 plus tax this was a great value for such a work horse of a pot. This insert fits my 6 Quart Instant-Pot Nova Plus.

The pot looks and feels of good quality (exactly as the original pot for my pressure cooker), it fit perfectly on my pressure cooker (the pioneer woman 6qt). Good quality, affordable price, arrived sooner than expected.

I bought the Instant Pot ceramic pot to replace the stainless steel pot because I wanted to reduce nickel leaching into my food. The ceramic pot is about 7 ounces lighter than the stainless steel pot that came with my Instant Pot. I like that it is nonstick, which also makes it easier to clean.

We have an Instant Pot Viva Red SS 60 6-qt cooker. I wanted to get away from using a rice cooker since using the Instant Pot alone saves space in the cupboard. Using a rice cooker was nice because it had an amazing non-stick coating. We finally had a chance to justify using the Instant Pot more often when our rice cooker died. The stainless steel insert that comes with the Instant Pot is great for many foods, but it is difficult to clean up rice stuck to the bottom. I tried seasoning it like you season stainless steel skillets and it was better but still a chore to clean up, and using a stainless steel scrubber removed the seasoning. I bought this to make cleanup easier. It's brand new and an actual Instant Pot accessory. It has a ceramic coating instead of the typical Teflon you find in a rice cooker and the base metal is aluminum so it's a little lighter to handle. It does help with sticking, but some mild scrubbing is still required on cleanup. I've also cooked pork in it and cleanup required some scrubbing as well. It is not the exact same height as the stainless steel insert, so I was concerned about whether it would hold pressure but my worries were unjustified. It doesn't have the heavy aluminum base of the stainless steel one, but it fits in my Instant Pot Viva 6-qt just fine and comes up to pressure as well as the stainless steel insert. Overall, however, I'm happy with this purchase. I dinged it one star because it has a small ding in the bottom--tit for tat. It's still perfectly functional and didn't damage the non-stick coating, but will harbor food particles if you aren't careful about cleanup. I think it was dented because I chose Amazon Day delivery and another item in the same order was lost so it took FOREVER to receive it. The package was damaged but not enough to make me reject it. Also, the price went up when it was in my cart, so I had to ding it for overall value. All in all, I still recommend it for your Instant Pot Viva 6-qt cooker.

This pot will not let rice stick a must have for the Instantpot.

Perfect replacement for Instant Pot stainless steel pot that was very difficult to clean. I put out 4 Instant Pots for a 4th of July party and clean up time was much improved. And, thank you for quick shipping!!

I've been using the ceramic inner pot for my Instant Pot, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Compared to the traditional stainless steel inner pot, the ceramic version is much more convenient to use. Food doesn't stick as easily, making it ideal for a variety of cooking methods, especially sautéing and slow cooking. One of the best features is how easy it is to clean. Even after cooking stews, rice, or sticky dishes, a quick rinse with warm water and mild detergent is usually enough to get it spotless. Unlike stainless steel, it doesn't require heavy scrubbing, and it maintains a clean, smooth surface without much effort. Overall, the ceramic inner pot has made my cooking experience with the Instant Pot even more enjoyable. It's a great upgrade and highly recommended for anyone looking for better performance and easier maintenance.👍👍👍👍👍

My rice cooker died so I've been using my instant pot instead but the rice tended to stick to the stainless steel bowl. I bought this and now the rice doesn't stick. 10/10.
