Battery lasts a long time while cleaning
I really enjoy this vacuum. It’s so much easier to clean than the others I have used. It does take some time to charge but I run it for hours. Lovely edge cleaner.

Excellent in every way except price
Excellent in every way, and puts my old Ryobi ONE+ batteries to shame. I could quibble: for less weight, DeWalt batteries give you 5 amp hours instead of 4. And then there's the price -- no wonder clones and knock-offs are so popular. But this battery certainly does the job; I'm glad I bought it and I'll probably buy another one.

Ryobi 18 volt battery
Definitely last longer the the off brand. Chinese brand ( I’ve had a total of 6 batteries) wouldn’t last any longer than 4 to 6 charges. If I’m doing something wrong please let me know. JC

Well this didn't work well.
Lasted less than 1 year with very limited use. It quit taking a charge after about 7 months. I have much older batteries for this system that still function so I was fortunate enough to get a bad one. Thumbs down on this one though.
