Amazon suggested this cover for our fire pit. It is way too big, but works. The quality is decent and it keeps out the rain, even during a storm. Im loving the bottom since that it has to fully enclose the pit.

We have had our square fire pit cover (44x44) for two years. It has been in midwest weather (cold long winters, not that much heat). It has survived OK but it's time to replace, two years later. I feel like it was too snug. You had to almost put it on ~ all four corners at once. If you slid it down one corner too far, the other corners won't go down. So you had to walk a merry go round around the fire pit pulling up/down the corners to make sure they were all pulled down even amounts when putting the cover on. If you didn't, it would rip. So we have rips as a result of it being too snug and not strong enough. It did its job but I'm upgrading to a higher quality and spending more this time. Two year life on this one.
