Customizable, pretty awesome
Things I loved about this product: 1. Looks fantastic. I wanted something that didn’t take up a lot of space and didn’t look like a traditional carpeted cat tree. 2. Straightforward assembly. It took me over an hour to put together and was pretty physically demanding, but I was able to do it all myself since it comes with all the tools you need and simple instructions. I definitely needed a ladder for securing it to the ceiling. I wanted to take my time and ensure I was doing everything correctly so my cats could play safely on it. 3. Very sturdy materials throughout. Each piece feels durable and once I got the tension rod securely placed, I feel very comfortable letting my cats play on this. Even the wood pieces that the cats can sit on feel like they will withstand the weight as my cats get older. 4. Loved that it comes with an extra scratching post! Even after taking a short pole from it, it’s a great size. 5. Fun to customize. Once I built it the “correct way” and my cats tried it out, I noticed some ways I could build it to better suit them. The pieces all fit together essentially the same, so it was simple to interchange parts. There is not a lot of fabric/material for them to dig their nails into, so I was worried that they would slip (and they did a few times, but luckily I was there to catch them). My ceilings are 9ft, which is about a foot too short for the original assembly. I ended up stealing a short pole from the separate scratching post and adding it to the main tree. Worked perfectly. Then I noticed my cats had a hard time getting to the climbing part of the tree, since the little house is already quite a ways up. So I used the short pole at the very bottom, then the house. They could access the tree part more easily. Lastly, I noticed that the original top of the house was smaller than the bottom. I think because the makers figure the cats want a lip to jump into the house, and the ramp to attach to the bottom. The problem here is that my cats didn’t have enough surface on the top of the house to jump up to or down from the first of the three landings. So I reversed the house, and switched the direction of the little pentagon opening. It gives them a few more inches of space on top. Now the ramp can’t screw into anything, so I just taped it securely to the inside of the house. Things I didn’t love: 1. It’s a catch 22 — I bought this because it was sleek looking, but the sleek design is not super cat friendly. My cats slipped many times on the bare wood clambering on this tree. I wish they had offered just a bit more fabric on the tops of the landings for cats to catch themselves on. I ordered some felt pads and put them on the places my cats needed for climbing, and it depletes some of the fancy look, but it gives my cats just the right amount of stability for climbing. They haven’t slipped once since I put the pads on. 2. So minor, but the little pillow that goes it the house is super small. I put a regular blanket it mine to offer more support. OVERALL: I’d highly recommend this cat tree to anyone who will take their time assembling it and purchase the extra felt pads for their cat’s safety. I love that I can have this tree in a rental without damaging the walls or ceiling for installation. Just be sure to check the tree every few days to make sure it hasn’t wiggled loose from the ceiling. Oh — and put your cats in another room when you’re building it so they’re not tempted to climb it when you’re working on it. (

Really nice! Needs extra stability.
Nicest looking cat tree ever! Cats love it and the bonus scratching post. Having trouble making it tight against the ceiling to keep it standing straight (maybe partly because my ceiling is textured?) Making a bracket out of plywood so I can screw it to the ceiling. Shelves are slippery since they're smooth wood, but the cats haven't had a problem with that so far. It does come with carpet rounds that attach to cover part of the shelf surface. Overall, I love it!

Nice and tall without hogging up floor space
While it is a bit wiggly no matter how tight you get the posts, the large base and included wall anchor is enough to not make me worry. I have larger cats and they’re still getting used to it so I’ll have to update on how long before my chonkers (16lbs and 13lbs) dislodge this from its place but otherwise it looks like it can handle them playing even on the top most shelf. Otherwise the look in the room is great and the cats seem to like it. Having rope all the way to the top of each posts is nice since the cats aren’t as likely to rip it up as quickly as the carpet covered posts. I also love that it doesn’t take up a ton of space in our bedroom.

Perfect for my cat!
Love the cat tree! I wish i could have purchased this way before, so I don’t have to waste money on other cat trees. For this price for this product, I am pretty satisfied! It is high customizable as well, my ceiling height is not as tall, so I had to remove one platform from the whole setting and everything works out great! But, here are the cons, it is not as stable as I thought it would be. It is a bit wobbly; if the screw is to be thicker and the base scratcher post to be thicker, that would help? Another would be for the wooden base, it would be much better if it is circular or oval, so it would fit better into the corner. A little thicker would be good. Overall, it is a pretty good cat tree!

slippery and small
It looks nice and seems sturdy, but my cats can't climb it. The wood is too slippery and there is not enough room for them to jump from or onto.

Not very sturdy.
This cat tower design has a couple flaws. One is due to the single point of contact to the ceiling and the other is the way it is put together. The connection points between each pole allows for movement. This tension style with multiple connections points doesn’t provide much stability when cats are playing on it. It moves a lot and scares my two cats. which keeps them from wanting to play on it. I will have to make some modifications to stabilize the tower. Just so I didn’t totally waste my money. Other than that I like how the tower looks. It’s definitely nice to have something that isn’t so bulky and takes up a lot of room.

This is worth the money
PROS: This is so beautiful and well worth the money. Doesn’t look or feel cheap at all. And thanks to the extra scratch post, the height of the tree is adjustable to your needs! All pieces connect so you get a lot of flexibility. In my case, my ceiling was too short. So I used a short piece from the scratch post at the top of my cat tree, and I used the longer piece from the tree on the scratch post. If your ceiling is too tall, you can always steal a piece from the scratch post to add more height (you’ll just have a shorter scratch post). Either way you have options, so don’t only rely on the « 94-102 » height requirement! CONS: (why I took out 1 star) It is narrow and your cat might need a second to learn to figure out how to get down. Make sure to position the shelves/panels in a way that look like stairs. Don’t have all of them just right above each other. I wish the panels were a little bigger/longer so that the cats would be less scared to come down. Once they learn though, it’s easy! It is a bit slippery. It does come with 7 little black foam pads. You use three for the top piece that connects to your ceiling, and I used the other four to add more grip to 2 of the shelves/panels. (See pictures) For now that’s enough, but I might get something to stick on the top of the house too for extra grip. That’s all! Worth it! I say Buy it!
